Not wearing any Sabres gear today, but here's my game face/hair.

I've been kicking the idea around for months. Even if it doesn't linger, it's still the right thing to do, I think.

I don't think McCabe is better than Risto at skating. Is he better than Kulikov?

I either picked Larsson or Reinhart, don't remember which. Does it really count as breaking out if Larsson solidifies himself as a fine 3rd liner like I think he will?

Risto isn't good at defense despite his playing pretty darn well defensively against brutal matchups, yet McCabe will be better despite the fact that he struggled defensively on the 2nd and 3rd pair last year? I hope McCabe takes a huge step forward but I can't envision a world where he leaps Risto defensively.

I remembered it feeling like a risk free bet. Just like when GoDD bet me that Hanzal would score more goals than Eichel last year. Too bad he was perma-banned before I won that one.

Putting Risto with Gorges instead of Kuli because that's "what he knows" is just as nonsensical as keeping Samson at wing because that's what he knows. Risto and Kulikov are going to have to learn to play together one way or another, just like Sasmon is going to have to play center at the NHL level eventually. Even if Hot Daniel wants to keep Samson on the wing forever (please gods no), it'll still be beneficial for the team as a whole for Sam to have center experience.

I've been having a really down couple of weeks when it comes to my mental health. I'm accomplishing nothing when I'm at home. I'll eat fast food instead of making myself something, I'll stay in and sleep instead of going out shooting when I have free time, I haven't written a word in weeks, and my girlfriend and I have opposite schedules and we haven't seen much of one another. And when we do spend time together, one of us is really tired. Work is nice, I can keep my head above water, but my lack of writing is really bringing me down. I think about my stories all day, get behind my desk at home and... nothing. I have no effort to give my passion.

We're going to stomp the Priceless Habs.
