I'm fine with his development so far. Kid's younger than me. So many people initially thought the Thornton hit was dirty, but I am with the second wave of posters who saw it as a clean hit. My (oh so overprotective of professional hockey players) mother even stopped cursing Thornton after they showed a replay of the hit. Glad to hear it was just a charlie horse, as we're going to need Rej. Great game, and the rat didn't score. Can't ask for much more. Vanek is lazy and good for nothing. Myers always seems to respond well to being benched. Ehrhoff continues to be the best defenseman on the team. Hopefully the floodgates just opened for the Infection. We know they can play well, consistency that's the issue. If they continue their recent string of good efforts, maybe I can get my hopes back up and maybe Lindy can actually do something with this roster.

I forgot that Leo broke Lindy's ribs. Still kinda hilarious.

You're right. After dealing Kassian Darcy put himself in the position where he cannot trade away any more potential power forwards (unless he acquires more via trade, but I don't see that happening). I think Colorado will not get a full return on O'Reilly because he's holding out and he's going to get a big deal. They're not exactly negotiating from a position of power.

I would have a third line of Ott - O'Reilly - Stafford and a second line of Ennis Grigorenko Foligno. That would be exciting.

This doesn't sound too off, other than Sekera's value is too high and Leo's is too low.

;) I would probably do Ennis for O-Reilly straight up. But as freeman said, we're getting dangerously slow if we trade away Ennis.

After sitting Myers for two games I guess I just got my hopes up. And there's still all this Gerbe negativity despite him playing great against Boston. I'm not writing him off yet, and it's not like we're sitting anyone of quality to play him.

Great game by Gerbe tonight. Might have been the best Sabre on the ice not named Miller. This team just doesn't even look like it wants to try. I really hope they fire Lindy.
