  1. My rating system is like this: Ask my sister if it's good beer.
  2. Jeffcoat and Kirby Van Der Kamp? What awesome names. I want them too, now.
  3. That means that it's good right? Because if so, I concur.
  4. Well that's almost entirely missing my original point, but OK.
  5. One of the main knocks against him coming out of the draft was his speed.
  6. Bills pick G Cyril Richardson with their 5th round pick. Hopefully this is what we got with our picks so far: Top WR Starting RT LB depth (I hope Brown becomes a 3 down LBer but I know little and less of him) CB depth Starting G
  7. Guys can get better at skating. See Tavares, John.
  8. Well, they did pick a run stopping LBer in the third round (Brown, not the rb), signed thumper Brandon Spikes to play MLB, and signed LB Rivers who I know nothing about. So I'm not sure why you're so concerned about the run defense when they actually have addressed it. As for Spiller being one dimensional: Chan Gailey used Spiller incredibly effectively on the ground and in the air. Last year Hackett ran CJ like a power back, down the middle down the middle down the middle. My read is that Hackett was a rookie OC (possibly just a terrible OC) and CJ is a good/great RB with more than 1 dimension.
  9. Yeah their fans have been pretty great.
  10. I thought Stevie might not be a Marrone guy, looks like that just got confirmed.. That's really disappointing. Make a win now move then trade Stevie for a 2015 pick? Why not let him play this year and then still trade him? This damn team...
  11. Agree. Except for when he cursed us with the damn Reinhart and McDavid photshops.
  12. The series is at 2-2. Both teams have proved that they can win in the other's barn. My forecast: A wild 3 games. I love the playoffs.
  13. Should be interesting to see the offense this year.
  14. I'm very glad they're giving EJ weapons. The run D should be better now that we have Spikes playing the middle. Still a huge need on the O-line and a need for LB and DB depth, but pulling the trigger on Watkins is awesome.
  15. Yup. I forgot the draft was tonight. I waited so long for it that I didn't even bother. Good job, NFL. Watkins, awesome. Next years first, ughhh. Here's hoping.
  16. Corning Community College. Land of a bunch of kids I didn't want to see after high school.
  17. THIS IS THE AWESOME THREAD NOT THE MATHS THREAD  My course was like half calc half engineering applications stuff (I took calc 2 in high school and I remember that being harder). I'm not sure there are many classes like it at non-community colleges. I'll know when I end up at some SUNY school eventually.
  18. On the 4th Penguins goal, Crosby dumped it in from the blue line, Malkin got the puck deep, used his body to shield it from defenders and made a slick pass to Kunitz. Of course the first thing the NBC guys said was, "Oh wow! Just look at the vision and skill of Sidney Crosby!"
  19. I have a chem final tomorrow then I'm done for the Summer. My mechanics test today was so exhausting. After 3 hours of calculus I just wanted to come home and sleep. Which I was able to do when my boss called me off tonight :)
  20. That second goal Fleury gave up was terrible. How can you only have tested that guy like 14 times in a game?
  21. I also don't have the energy to react indignantly every time we learn... anything about the organization.
  22. If they can pick another Kiko Alonso in the second round, then trade back all day. In reality, we have to draft a bunch of busts this year to make up for how awesome last year's draft was.
  23. I remember when I started reading the board I thought a lot of people would be happy when Darcy was finally shown the door. Nope, not really. Either all this little stuff in ownership bothers you or it doesn't. You certainly have your moments when you dig in with your mind-claws and ask questions, but most of the time I just read it and say, "eh, I don't think the same way he does."
  24. This is pretty cool. I put on some two chord jams and played along and it's a pretty fun exercise. I put in something cyclical like Long Line of Cars by Cake and there's just a hundred million arcs in the last minute or so that are un-listenable. By far the most entertaining song i tried so far was the Lemon song by Zep. The long bluesy bass interlude is untouched by the arcs, but it hops back and forth in between Page's two guitar solos and it sounds awesome.
  25. Wahhh wahhhh wahhh. Why do you watch the Bills? Seriously, you seem like you'd be happier if you didn't.
