Don is a good guy, well liked but doesn't inspire have to hope the Hurricanes go out early and Bind'mour becomes a free agent. if not bring back Lindy with the idea that he will get a job in the front office down the line .... give Peca a few more years experience and bring him in truth be told, I'd rather Peca with experienced assistants over DG next year

I doubt there is anyone who doesn't want changes to the roster but you can constantly run people in and out and you won't have success until you find a coach so get a new coach and make some changes to the roster. Adams has to do both this summer

I imagine the same people who are dumping on Power were the same people that wanted to trade Dahlin. wanted to waive guys like UPL and Mitts hell, I even remember people wanted to trade JJP not long ago

100%. There is tons of evidence that a change in coach can make a significant impact on the teams performance need to look at the top of the NHL standings to find an example. Canucks were the leagues laughing stock just over a year ago. a coaching change , a couple of bottom line foot soldiers brought in. They traded away a 40 goal scorer who was one dimensional. Now the top team in the league

If DG is fired after the season, this is the game that drove the stake through his heart. To come out this flat in a game of this significance is unacceptable.

I wonder what Skinners net effect is? yes he scores but how many does he give up? Look at this last road trip. As big as they come for the Sabres He Scores 3 in a 6-2 route of SEA but puts up 0 points in the other 4 If I look back over 2024: I really think this is damning about Skinner He has 18 points in 29 games in total BUT in the games decided by 2 goals or less (16 of the 29 games) he has 2 goals and 1 assist. So yes he scores but almost all his damage (7G 8A) is done in games that are lopsided 11 of those points are in 6-1 win over MTL , 6-2 vs SEA and 7-2 vs LV To take it one step further in games decided by 3 goals or less (23 of last 29) he has contributed 3G and 4A. Not nearly good enough.

Im trying to think about a line of Skinner Krebs Greenway I will like it better by upgrading Krebs with a 29 year old Vet Chandler Stephenson comes to mind as a UFA but maybe a trade could bring in someone who makes $4 to $5 million and not upset the apple cart with $14mill allocated to Cozens and Tage.

I like to say I've been very hard on Tuch this year. His unwillingness to stand in front of the net on the PP is my biggest peeve. I would have him off PP1 all together. And dont get me started on his unwillingness to use his frame to throw a check on a defender. I think it was the last game or two I questioned if he (Tuch) was the most in accurate passer on the team. Krebs can be easily disposed and doesnt make $9million. Also, I dont think his effort needs to be questioned as it is the Skinner

where are you playing him next year? Sabres obviously dont want / trust him any longer on line 1 How much does he score away from Tage and Tuch? I do think he represents a huge part of the problem. His lack of 2 way effort is well documented. I would put Benson on Line 1 and give up 10 goals in order to get everything else Benson brings to the game. Its not all about Keep or Get rid of. If you keep him, whats his role?

and its got the Sabres no where and play him where? I'm open to having getting the Olofsson treatment and fill in as the 13th forward when needed

ok, so you want him on your top line? you feel comfortable going into next year with Skinner - Krebs - Benson as your 3rd line ? also imply that Greenway is either #1 LW or #4 Left Wing , neither is a role I want him in
