Sabres are unlikely to get Dahlin, so you just might get your wish! :)
-
Yep, as it is unlikely that the Sabres move out of top the bottom 3 in the league, looks pretty clear that one of those 6 will be a Sabre next season. I'll go further by saying that only Boqvist is 0% in NHL next year. Hughes would be about 20-25% with a year of college hockey under his belt, I think he goes back to Michigan for sophomore season Dahlin, Tkachuk, Svechnikov and Zadina are all 90% to be NHL players in 2018/19 As for late 1st rounder / Early 2nd rounders , I've been tracking Calendar Addison

Woah, i.'ll guess you haven't seen Dahlin play to this point? If you want to start talking about Tkachuk at #2, I'll listen but I don't care how Guhle looks to be, there is no way you pass up Dahlin at #1. He is the McDavid of defensemen.

Sabres prospects in the World Juniors this year

Wow, you are right about that assist being taken away. In my books he still has 6. Tied with Petterson and soon to be Sabres teamates Mittelstadt and Dahlin -

Eichel is now 4th in the league in EV/SH scoring. Imagine if the PP was even average this season?
-
Only issue is that Casey and Tkachuk are both LW. With the way Jack has been playing since Samson was moved to his RW, why not keep them together? Allows Mittelstadt to play Center. Both Eichel and Mittelstadt need the puck on their stick. If Sabres remain 2nd last (but don't land Dahlin) Tkachuk/svechnikov/zadina. Eichel Reinhart Nylander. Mittelstadt. Okposo CJ smith. ROR. Bailey Girgensons. Asplund. Baptiste Hopefully they get a NHL ready prospect for Kane to fit n there somewhere. Wouldn't mind seeing Asplund in the Ahl for a year Maybe I'll dare to dream that they trade Kane but are able to resign him?

Watched on the LEafs tv tonight and there are 2 or 3 must see saves tonight. Marlie broadcasters who have seen Linus play for a couple of years now say that he will be Sabres goalie of the future, for whatever that is worth

Will Borgen rumoured to be on the Preliminary US Olympic hockey team
-
Can we all agree that Mittelstadt will never play a second in the AHL? Wonder if he can pull off that move he did at practice on this ice? If he does the hockey world will go nuts Nope
-
Absolutely correct. you are doing the Penguins a favor by taking Letang. I'm thinking Sprong, Letang and a lottery protected first rounder for Kane.

The research point is that I thought they had said the Hodgsom and Reinhart were tourney MVPs but now see it was only the one post about Hodgson Yea, Samson was really good at the tourney but was also pretty good I'm his rookie and sophomore NHL seasons. Really can't figure what happened to him except to,say his confidence is totally crushed. Here are the highlights from the US game tonight. http://teamusa.usahockey.com/news_article/show/868813?referrer_id=695820 -
Sabres Just Stink At Drafting Good Players

nail hit directly on the head -
I think the 2014 draft was trash. two players drafted past the 2nd round have scored over 10 career goals in the NHL. Remember Murray was offering all 3 of his 2nds to move back up into the 1st and noone would take it. yes, Samson is having a tough year but I don't think he forgot how to play hockey. His confidence is either shaken or just doesn't fit into Housley's system

When will Jack have a breakout game this season?
Crusader1969 replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
i feel another 3 or 4 point night coming for Jack in his hometown. -
exactly

1) Can you expand? 2) Draisaitl is / was a natural centre. hence the nickname "german gretzky"

I think Jacks problem is that the teams PP sucks. He is actually scoring at a higher rate 5x5 this season than last season. How is it possible that he has 3 PP points all season? who is the PP coach now? what team did the guy go who coached them last year? -

how about CJ Smith? -
awesome thanks! Evans is leading the nation in scoring at the moment, so it will be interesting when the charts get updated.

Im pretty sure thats it for drafted potential Free Agents next summer. Not sure if there is anyone in the Kerfoot, Vesey, Butcher category but a few seem to have at least a bit of potential.
