Hopefully Risto finds success in Philly. His career development of lack thereof is completely on the Sabres. Im really Happy the Power is going back to Michigan. Don't need to see any Dman under 20 on the Sabres ever again.

I would have concerns long term about his covid situation, plus he missed a full year of training, who knows how far behind he is now? we are also hypothesising how good he is going to be, We already know what Jack is. Rossi will be lucky to reach 80% of what Jack is at full health. I need Boldy to be part of that deal, if not the centerpiece

Im 100% its not good news At some point the Sabres just have to say, we aren't going to trade him. Both them and Jack will just have to suck it up until he proves his worth once again. Prior to the neck injury, there is no way the Sabres are accepting a trade of #3 overall and Zegras for Eichel. Now, He's not worth even that? get him back to full strength, prove his worth and then make a trade.

Rossi just missed an entire season due to heart complications from COVID. seems like a terrible deal IMHO. If you can't get Boldy, Rossi and Pick 22. hang up the phone

i think Power is everything the Sabres need, him and Dahlin will play 45 mins a game between them on the left side and is more of a sure thing than anyone else in the draft. Maybe in the Sabres scouting department but did every scout that Bob surveyed have Quinn over Rossi? That being said, Rossi hasn't played at all since the draft, way too early to say he will end up the better player

no offence to Austin but if Bob McKenzie has 10 scouts all ranking Power at #1 and a guy from a website having him #6. I'm going with the scouts.

100% agree - he wont cost much and if he is just here for a 1 or two to teach before moving onto an "experienced / High profile" coach, im good with that

to a Sabres fan of 40 years at that point - yes it was suffering nothing worse than stuck in the middle with no hope of the cup. The Tank gave hope - they acquired an elite talent in Eichel, a high prospect in Samson and a basketful of draft picks (3 1st in the best draft in ages - 2015) but instead of proper rebuild, Murray gave away 2 of the first for Lehner and Kane. How much better would they be now if they kept the picks instead? All water under the bridge. If we are entering Tank 2 - lets hope the rebuild is successful this time around.
