Gonna have to entice them to take him. He’s a UFA at the end of next season, they may see value in that.
-
Think it’s a bit of an indictment for the current draft that the top players in the tournament aren’t even draft eligible though future Sabers Beniers isn’t there

and has the bet ability of all....AVAILABILITY

Let’s win out!!! Impressive back to back comebacks. bring on next season! -
I usually hate predicting trades BUT if Tkachuk really needs a change of scenery, I’m giving up my 2022 top 10 protected 1st and 2nd picks, Ryan Johnson and Oloffson. too much or too little ?? And I’m not sure how the season starts but it ends Skinner Eichel Tkachuk Bjork Samson Cozens Asplund Mitts Tage Girgs / beniers R2. Quinn / okposo

This isn’t aging well 🙂 Jk

Winning cures all ills or something like that so back to the draft... 😂

one of the scouting reports I read on Guenther said “he’s always in the right spot” after watching today’s game, I can definitely see it. He may not be the guy driving play but he seems to be one of those guys that the puck always find and he isn’t shy from shooting. Has size , good speed, has an excellent shot and works hard in the dzone with the centres on this team; I think he would definitely be a good addition

If it’s elsewhere, may as well fold the franchise -

to think Nedeljkovic could have been picked up off of waivers earlier this season. -
I agree, nothing about what I’ve seen from Guenther is screaming first overall pick. that being said, you don’t want to give too much weight to a 2 week tournament We will see how he does in the medal round Ive liked Stillman on Canada, hard nosed , hit everyone and has offensive skills. Mctavich is definitely helping his draft stock. same with the Kid who’s taken Clarke’S job on PP1. Ottenger or something
-
Devils win again sabres will need to win their remaining 4 games in regulation in order to have a chance to catch them
-
I haven’t really been that impressed yet. You? I would pick Clarke before Guenther but of course I’m basing this on 4 periods of watching them so far bored and re -watched the USA - Can WJC game earlier today I really think Beniers should be the pick Brings everything the Sabres need more of him and Cozens together would be a nightmare for opposing Defencemen Both have the desire to battle in the corners, both have speed and talent
-
Ill be very impressed with the Granato if we can see a bounce back game next time out looked like more than a few Sabres were thinking about their off season plans today.
-
Was Murray one of the guys they want to see get some NHL games? If so, time is running short
-
I was just thinking the same thing. Move Risto to a team that can protect him. NYR are in a similar situation
-
The cursed season continues
-
Worse game under Granato? I’m sure there has have been other clunkers but this has the feel of a game from before he was coach
-
Maybe the first shot against UPL in a game shouldn’t be a grade A opportunity against from now on?
-
i dont care if its last or 2nd last. Dont want 3rd last because you are then 4th in the lottery with Seattle being #3.
-
I agree. Ideally he is the 4th line winger. But with their current roster I have him slotted higher. Basically to balance the lines I like Asplund on his current line Think they have good chemistry
-
I don’t like VO and R2 on the same line. Figured KO would be the one going into the corners. Bjork can play Center ?
-
I like Cozens at Center. You want the puck on his stick to enter the zone and to be attacking with speed skinner. eichel, Samson R2 , Cozens, Okposo asplund, Mitts, Tage VO , Girgenson, Bjork Quinn and some decent low cost vets to fill the reserves and Amerks I want them to keep as much cap space as possible. ONly spending enough to ensure 2 capable NHL goaltenders. Maybe add a winger during the season, finally being buyers and using draft picks to acquire.

Eklund made his debut for the men’s national team today and pulled off one of the best passes I’ve ever seen

Sorry. I wasn’t clear. I was trying to agree with your post , adding substance
