I don't think I saw Peterka on the ice after a weak attempt at a no-look backhanded clearing attempt that got picked off and created a scoring change for Vegas. It shouldn't be that surprising that a line of mostly rookies is starting to slump now that the season is starting to grind. Anyone whose listened to GMKA speak knows he operates by his plan. Comrie and Anderson are the starters in Buffalo, when healthy. When Comrie is healthy UPL will be sent back to Rochester and will have the majority of the starts until Anderson or Comrie get injured again. Next year it will be Comrie/UPL in Buffalo and Levi taking UPL's spot in Rochester.

Trading Thompson for a 5th would have really been a nice feather in that O'Reilly trade. St Louis gets ROR and a cup Buffalo ends up with a 5th round pick after what's his face quit, Sobotka played himself out of the league, the 1st round pick of Ryan Johnson walked and Sabres fans got to watch Tage Thopmson rise on another team. Yikes! Which GM would have made that trade? Part of me wants to say "no way Bottreril does that, so it has to be Adams", but mabye Jbots called another audible? Yeesh.

Maybe that's why Jerry Forton was in tears after the last draft.
