Every year they manage to re-invent the meaning of rock bottom. -

I've heard Sabres players and the Sabres doctors don't have a great history of being on the same page. Perhaps there's an alternative healer they could potentially consult with. -

Sabes better come out fast and strong and stay hard all night to make up for the last Avalanche game. -
Dang, he's one of the few guys who looked like he gave a ***** when he was on the ice. Him, Benson, Kozak....I might be missing someone else.

I can, sadly. Here's how: They get an early lead and maintain a 1-goal edge until a soft MTL goal leads to another less than 2 minutes later and they trail for the rest of the game. or They outplay MTL in every aspect of the game except they can't put the puck in the net and end up losing 2-0 after an empty netter or MTL comes out strong and takes the lead and never lets it go or The Sabres blow the lid off MTL and win 8-2, that'd be ideal.

Should We Trade Our Number One Pick This Year?
Mustache of God replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
This team is simply throbbing for an actual defenseman. If you address that in the draft, it's going to take years for that player to grow enough to make an impact, so I'd rather see a move made to swap the pick for a ready to go D man or 2? I know good players like that don't grow on trees and most guys have NTCs, but the allure of a high pick might be able to help teams address their needs? -
Should We Trade Our Number One Pick This Year?

I've been advocating for trading our 1st round pick since we drafted Östlund, Kulich and....Rosen(?) in that one draft. We've had a problem of having too many "skill" guys and nowhere on the roster to accommodate bringing up all this young talent. Instead GMKA has sat back on his hands doing the bare minimum as a GM and here we are.
