When would we realistically see him signed? With Comrie out long term we need a 3rd goalie ASAP less we throw off the delicate balance of chemistry on this roster.

Unfortunately Comrie is signed through next year. At the beginning of the season I thought this year would be Comrie - Anderson and next year Comrie - UPL but I'm at the point now where I might puke if I have to type Comrie's name ever again. At this point he has zero trade value, so I'm not sure how we exclude him from the line-up? Do we waive him, buy him out? Buying him out over the summer would see us have a 600K cap hit in 23-24 and in 24-25, which seems reasonable. Given the nature of how goalies develop I think it would be short-sighted to move on from UPL, but we need a real, established goalie who isn't a piece of swiss cheese or the oldest player in the NHL.

Are they years away? - No. Is our coach out the door? - No, at least not the head coach. Can our defense and goaltending really be this bad? - Yes. Can we please go back to last week as this feels exactly the same as last year. - No and yes.

I've been in the camp of "give Comrie a chance" but Ive now packed up and won't visit that campsite again.

Hopefully this lights a fire under the team and we rail off a 10 game winning streak. I do think that doesn't happen and this is officially the end of the season. Thank God Adams sat on his hands so we could have a single meaningful game in March. Progress!

The worst part is at the end of the season they're going to talk about how far they came...yada yada, I can't listen to that after 12 years of no playoffs....oh look, 8th goal.

I haven't been paying much attention to the game, just sat down to actually actively watch it, hate seeing were being outshoot 40-20 when our season is on the line. Where's the ***** urgency?

The top line is the skill line and Greenway isn't a "skilled" player, so my instinct tells me that experiment won't work. Luckily lines can be adjusted mid-game so if it's not working he can switch players around. I did notice that during the Islanders game Tage took a few extra curricular hits. Greenway can add some protection and what I'm more interested in seeing is him finishing hits against the other teams "skill" players since I imagine those lines will be matched up.

I agree, that defense is roughly 68.6% better with Bryson and Clague out of the line-up. Don't understand Greenway on the top line, that seems like a Kruegerism. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

That last loss really took the wind out of my sails, this is maybe the least interested I've been in a game all season.
