I hope someone from the Sabres taunts the Bruins bench tonight after going up by at least 5 goals.

My normal instinct would be to see that the Bruins got their cheeks waxed last night and think, "Oh, they're gonna rebound hard and come out hungry." Fork that line of thought. I wan the Sabres to start fast and hard and not stop. Break the Bruins tonight. Get going early and run up the points. I voted for Jack to open up the scoring for us this season. Seems appropriate. 7pm can't come soon enough!

I used to like watching the game like that before understanding the effects of CTE and seeing players killing themselves as a result. Nowadays I can't see a hit like that without thinking "I hope he's not dealing with that for the rest of his life", kinda sucks the fun out of that part. I like the suspension. The hit alone isn't worth 20 games but it's Wilson's track record and I'm all for that. I never want to see any of our players laid out like that.

next year Pominville, Larsson and Girgensons will definintely be gone as well. Will be interested to see what Jbots does next off-season, although the focus will no doubt to be to upgrade the D core.

Bogo with an A....hopefully he plays more than 18 games. I wonder if there's still bad blood with the way he exited his last role here? Either way...he should have made it into that video, Ruff also as he's a huge piece of this team's history.

Kolner Haie just tied the game up 3-3 on the powerplay. 6 minutes left in the 3rd...I'd like to see them embarrass Edmonton.

I'd be surprised if Larsson can fetch much of anything, but who knows. I'd be happy with a mid-round pick.

Apparently yesterdays practice was cancelled because Jack threw a fit that he hadn't been named captain yet and then Housley caved under the pressure from his star player. /s

It'll be interesting to see how many games the new guy, Elie, sits before being worked into a game. Also curious to see how long Bogo is out. We're now a week + into him being diagnosed "day-to-day" which, in my book, means he's week-to-week now. When Larsson comes back do they send Tennyson down? Or put Bogo on IR? I hope that 3rd line is able to produce...anything. To me it's the most intriguing because maybe it will be good or maybe it'll be a line that will make us pull our hair out.

We want the Bruins to lose. We want them to have less points at the end of the year.

Apparently the Edmonton Oilers are playing a game right now against...KOL, part of the Globar Series Challenge? It's on my NHLTV package so I get to watch some hockey while I'm working from home with a cold, which is a bonus.

I like the idea of them not practicing. Remember when Zemgus fell on Jack the last practice before the regular season? Can't have that again (although is seems like Wilson was our sacrificial lamb this year).

Are we even sure that practice being cancelled is 100% accurate? I'm seeing other media saying the Sabres are off today? Maybe it was a planned day off and Bill Hoppe misspoke?

Maybe Nylander took a giant dump on the center of the ice as a protest for being sent down?
