  1. eww no, they can trade from their wealth of defense prospect but Helenius is probably their only C prospect in the entire system.
  2. Clears 3.75mil off of Dallas' cap.
  3. I think by Dec 1, Lyon with be getting the Lion's share of the starts.
  4. Changed my mind. No response needed.
  5. Montreal might be somewhat of a paper tiger. They had a -20 goal differential which is the same as Buffalo and only 1 better than Detroit. That is worse than Calgary, Utah, Seattle, Minnesota, and Vancouver. Their defense is certainly better with Dobson. Lane Hutson is the perfect example of talent can trump size when it is elite. That is the biggest improvement to their team other than more experience. They got above average GT last year which really helped them as well, once they moved away from Cayden Primeau. The one thing I wonder about them is their forward group. Will it continue to have the depth scoring to be good? FTR, I am not saying Montreal won't make the playoffs or can't. They are just an interesting group because they have similarities to Buffalo but they got timely gt where Buffalo did not. They were able to sneak in even with some flaws and they are probably better now. Just an interesting team to watch to see if they hold onto their spot or if they can be beaten.
  6. Actually, Brodie is such a good complimentary piece. he was on a STACKED U of Minn team. Snuggerud, Wood, Moore, Rinzel, and he was 7th on that team in points which for a mostly 18yr old (late Feb bday) is pretty solid. Ziemer and Helenius are both 5'11" 190lbs and play similar games.
  7. I think Brody Ziemer is one of those guys that if you keep him and you use patience, you may end up with the perfect 3rd line winger. We're talking 40pts and just nasty to play against. I love me some Ziemer.
  8. If you don't have a baseline competency for what you expect of the president of the united states, or even a baseline level of morality you would expect that position to show towards their own citizenry, I can't give you one and frankly I can't help you at all. You are essentially abdicating your rights as a citizen and your responsibility therein to play fence sitter, which doesn't mean you are in the middle. It means you have already chosen a side.

  10. "You have to be ultra-competitive in the goalie room but also be supportive at the same time."
  11. Good post. I think McLeod will probably drop down to around 45pts but I don't see any reason why his 2way play would regress at all. Looking forward to McLeod being another year older with all the experience he got last year.
  12. How long were those guys on that green because the other group had enough time to hit into them, drive up, wait, and then start ***** talking.
  13. One thing I have noticed about Kesselring, Doan, and Lyon, they sounds like adults. Over the last 2 years it is something I noticed a lot more in Dahlin. Maturity.
  14. Thanks, I've been trying to find this interview for 2 days.
  15. This is a disingenuous argument because every C wasn't good enough to overcome this. They literally won the Cup. McDavid lines up against Barkov, he lost the series... does that make Barkov better than McDavid? What about other playoff teams?
  16. Doesn't change the fact that McLeod is not just a 3c. Which is your argument. Why can't McLeod be a 2c on a playoff team? What's your reasoning other than "he's a 3c because that's what he was in Edmonton"
  17. I feel better about McLeod at 2c than Kulich
  18. McLeod is somewhere between a 3rd and 2nd line player. Florida is basically built with guys who some team thought were 4th and 3rd liners and Florida was like... well actually
  19. This is called anchoring. Look it up.
  20. You're actually proving my point. When Kesselring played up the lineup you yourself showed he played better.
  21. Not that I'm aware of. Georgia's qb did a car dealer nil and drove a Lamborghini around. CCM or whatever would seem similar.
  22. Ryan McLeod would have finished tied for 4th on Florida last year in points and goals. He would have been 4th in points on Edmonton and goals as well. McLeod can play on the 2nd line if needed and probably with Buffalo running Kulich out there, McLeod will see 2nd line level TOI as he gets some tougher or longer 5v5 shifts and also PK shifts that Kulich will be sheltered from. He's about as close to being a 2nd line player as he can get and could have been one on 2 teams that went to the cup finals. The real question is will he maintain or exceed his play last year. He was a rare bright spot.
  23. Cole is a lhd and has over 900 games. Pretty straight forward why he played more.
