    I can't respond to Liger because he's making my brain hurt, but this is an important clarification for others (I know you get it) that I think is getting muddled: There are no ties for the Shart. There can be only 1. The Dogs do not control their destiny for the Shart yet, they need the Oilers to take 1 more point in order for that to be the case.

    Yes, All the other septic teams still need "help". Even after last night, only the Sabres currently control their own destiny, but even that is hanging on by the thinnest of threads.

    I will say, if this coaching group stays, we won't have to worry about the goalie situation next season. We won't win 30 games, but at least we won't have to worry about the goalie situation. Silver lining: The SO Win helps with the tie-breaker...

    I'm about to whiskey-up. I really really wish I could have been impressed by Anders' game, but every time i see Nolan get a win on the back of a great Goalie performance with a poorly choreographed toddler dance recital in front of it, it just makes me more angry that people actually think he can coach NHL hockey.
