Don't we want Carolina to WIN in OT? That would get another point counted against the Coyotes and Carolina would finally get a win. I'm getting nervous the longer it goes for them without a win. The Sabres are sure to slip up here and there and the last thing we need is to fall a handful of losses behind Carolina.

What a circus. How did Pegula get so rich being so apparently clueless about how to run an organization? It's a complete mess.... But don't worry! Jeremy White says everything is AWESOME right now! He tweeted as much. This is GREAT news! Things are AMAZING for Sabres fans! The future is SO BRIGHT! God he is insufferable to listen to. Endless negativity is bad enough (but given the sorry state of the Bills and Sabres at least it makes sense). Endless pie in the sky optimism in the face of absolute icompentence is just insulting.

actually, no. He's a stand up man who is doing his best. A weasel would be looking to take the easy way out or to not do his best work for his employer. Now whether his best is good enough is up for debate, but he is no weasel.

Anything that keeps Darcy employed beyond the end of this season is bad. Change is needed.

As bad as it sounds, most of us would do the same at this point. Sure, we'll scream and yell about how WE would never go through the motions, but it's what people do in losing organizations everyday, both on and off the ice. The same thing applies to offices, restaurants, you name it. Why are the playoffs so great? Because every player is putting 100% on the line for a cup. There is something to get up for. What does this group have to play for? Yeah, sure... pride. Athletes are professionals, and that comes with a cost/benefit analysis. Why bust up my body for a team that is rudderless, has no hope or direction, and where the locker room/arena atmosphere is so toxic that the fans boo at home when you're tied? Is it right? Of course not. But these guys are human.
