Well I guess everybody entitled to their own opinion.

This guy is what this team needs now. I have seen inspire the whole team a time or too, to play harder and with more hart. He may not show it on the score card but it definitely shows on the ice. So please he is one player that does not need to retire. If I know Ted Nolan, he is itching to see Pat back on the ice. If you want to talk about retiring players I can name a few on this roster that needs to retire.

This has nothing to do with respect, it's about the numbers you put up and what you do for the community.

He not the only person that needs to go, so does Weber and Stafford.

He played two season with Buffalo. His numbers don't jump out at you in those two years. It was later revealed that his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit at the time of the accident. I don't know of any charities or fundraiser he did in the Buffalo area. He also started his Coffee Shop in Canada and not here in Buffalo. But for some unknown reason, people in the area and the Sabres Organization retires his jersey and recently put up a statue of him at the Harbor Center. No offense but I have seen other Sabres players in this organization do a lot more then Tim Horton. I'm not trying to be mean about this. I just want someone to explain to me why this man is Idolized in Buffalo so much?

I want Darcy fired but I don't think it's going to happen. Also there are fans out their that our delusional and will get season tickets next year, knowing that if Darcy is here next year this team will never change.

I said once and I say it again. The reasons for the quietness in the arena is because there are only one or two players out there laying it all on the line and is playing with sheer grit. If you have a whole team or most of them play like that it makes the game that much more exciting.

I live in Georgia, but grew-up in Angola. You can't blame the fans for the way this team plays. This is a Darcy product on the ice. As for the cheers and boo's in the arena. This has been like this for the past 3 or 4 years. I have been to games when this arena was so loud that it hurt my ears. The most recent one was when Briere played his first game as a Flyer and he got crushed into the boards the first time he hit the ice. The whole game the crowd was loud and if anyone was there they know what I am talking about. Get rid of Darcy or put him in for trade talks only. This town is all about effort. Even when we lose, if the effort is there people still leave the game knowing that they got their monies worth. Just look at Kaleta and Ott. The reasons for their popularity is the they have hart and put all of it on the ice. That is what makes hockey so exciting.
