So who are our top 4 centers now?

I do love that there is a small crowd as this organization really does need to earn the fans back again.

Win or lose games, just please don't let this be the only full 60 minute effort game of the season. This is all fans have wanted for the past decade and I'm curious to see if this really will be the identity of the team.

Am I the only one that saw this a mile away?! Some of you guys can really get too negative around here, sheesh.

I really like the look of that lineup and think that these guys have a real chance to make a run once they make the playoffs this year. I don't think I have eve been so excited for a season to start in my life! Go Sabes!

Maybe a stupid question but if there are conditions involved, how does that work if major pieces in trade are players, not picks??

Just please involve players that fans can get behind on this return. This team has been so unlikable for so long and it needs an identity For the Love of everything holy.

It's just like baseball for me, since Buffalo does not have a professional team, I don't want the sport. I feel like Buffalo does not even have an NHL team so my interest in watching others has almost completely faded away. It's more than Buffalo being bad in the standings, the players have absolutely no appeal to me and the style of play is completely unwatchable and boring.

I won't even watch the NHL this season. The Sabres have made me hate following the sport. A very sad state in Buffalo for sure.

Well, the silver lining on Covid is that I was forced to give up my tickets this year. I just feel bad for the players who are really given no chance to succeed no matter how well they may play in a game. It would have been nice to have traded Jack for a tier 1 goalie a year ago.

I'm just happy that I pushed payments for seasons until next year. I can't imagine there will be 1 game where that arena is half full.

Maybe Jack will still be liked by some in these parts but I predict that he goes down as the most disliked player in Sabres history. I have zero doubt I have never disliked anyone more and hope he gets shipped to a city he can't stand. Ottawa seems like a good start..

I, on the other hand, think it is just about the most rational thought you can have.

For sure this will be the worst team in Sabres history. With the division they are in, maybe 4 years they will be close to 8th. If they get #1 overall pick next year, that could drop to 2 years depending on the return from Jack.

There are plenty of stories that have not gone public, mostly from management....his attitude sucks and he thinks he is owed the world without earning it. THey wanted him out before the injury and this comes from pretty high up. And don't ask who because I am not going to divulge.

Screw Eichel, and the little pony he rode in on. If someone does not include a potential line 1 center, the talks are dead. Adam's is not here to make Eichel or his agent happy, he is here to make the Sabres a better team. This trade shapes the next 5 years plus for this team and he can't settle.

Chicago has made all the right moves and should be pretty legit this year.

Sabres with or without Eichel will miss playoffs for next 3 years and both my kids will be in college. At this point, I hope they say no to any trade and make him rot on the sidelines...And this is coming from someone with season tickets.

It's ok, our starting goalie will be ready in only 4 short years.
