I still can't get used to how few people are there in the first couple weeks of the season

I can't wait for the day when we have a team that works this hard and actually has talent at the same time.

I still can't believe those names every time someone lists the lineup for Buffalo.

He has dug his feet in big time.

Pegula is fine paying Eichel his entire contract to not play if the Sabres don't get the return they want. And don't ask, but this is his mindframe.

I think we all knew this was coming so anger is void this year. Next year they probably finish around 10th and then hopefully by 2023 season, they are in the 6/7/8 seed area.

Let's just say that the past 3 games brought me more joy than the last 3 years. I am not expecting anything this year and would have to see a lot more to actually attend a game. Losing will not bother me as long as they show the effort from start to finish (most nights).

I do love that there is a small crowd as this organization really does need to earn the fans back again.

Win or lose games, just please don't let this be the only full 60 minute effort game of the season. This is all fans have wanted for the past decade and I'm curious to see if this really will be the identity of the team.

I really like the look of that lineup and think that these guys have a real chance to make a run once they make the playoffs this year. I don't think I have eve been so excited for a season to start in my life! Go Sabes!

Maybe a stupid question but if there are conditions involved, how does that work if major pieces in trade are players, not picks??

Just please involve players that fans can get behind on this return. This team has been so unlikable for so long and it needs an identity For the Love of everything holy.

It's just like baseball for me, since Buffalo does not have a professional team, I don't want the sport. I feel like Buffalo does not even have an NHL team so my interest in watching others has almost completely faded away. It's more than Buffalo being bad in the standings, the players have absolutely no appeal to me and the style of play is completely unwatchable and boring.

I won't even watch the NHL this season. The Sabres have made me hate following the sport. A very sad state in Buffalo for sure.

Well, the silver lining on Covid is that I was forced to give up my tickets this year. I just feel bad for the players who are really given no chance to succeed no matter how well they may play in a game. It would have been nice to have traded Jack for a tier 1 goalie a year ago.
