So I was in Toronto this past weekend with my girlfriend and she looks over at a guy smokin a cig outside our hotel bar and is like...isn't that the singer who is playing tomorrow night? She is wearing a custom cowboy hat that I got for her and we go into the bar and he wants to try it on. 3 hours later, we are still drinking and telling stories with Post Malone (Austin) and his guitar player and I mean, nicest guys on the planet. He asked how long we were dating and I said 7 years. He goes...why don't you two stay tomorrow night and I'll get you 2 tickets to the show, and you can get engaged on stage. A couple more hours pass and I never brought it up again. I may have really botched this one and I think I may really never let myself live this one down...ugh.

He would NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER even think about coming to this blackhole, ever. Blackhawks or Sharks have tons of money and could be on the rise with someone like Marner to play with their other superstars.

I want Carolina and Edmonton but it's gonna be Dallas and Florida. That will be a war with 2 goalies playing out of their mind to boot.

Toronto absolutely throwing up all over themselves, you absolutely have to love it! And as far as any free Agent Toronto player, I wouldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole.

The team is not good enough Players don't want to come here Respectable GMs and up and coming coaches don't want to come here They are at LEAST 3 solid players away from competing for 8th, and that does not even include goaltending. They're screwed, so I have just come to accept that this team may never be good again. If they luck into the playoffs here and there, great, but that is pretty much all I am expecting over the next few years,

I would never be done with the Sabres, but I feel like I have checked out the last 3-4 years. If they are in the top 8 next year any time after November, I will be ready to roll. I think they will be close to the worst team in the NHL by December so not really getting my hopes up.

Retooling is not the proper term. They need two top 6 forwards, 2 top 4 defensemen, a starting goalie, a coach, and a GM to figure out how to do it all. With Florida, Tampa and Toronto in their division, playoffs are still YEARS away without getting a ton more talent.

Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan at Darien Lake. I have never seen either of them and would be a shame to say I never did before it's too late. Do you think they will be just awful or will there actually be some decent music to go along with the icons just being there?

Sullivan will go to the Rangers and they will make a deep run in the playoffs next year. If Buffalo was a real organization, they would ship Ruff to the front office and give Sullivan a blank check. It is the only move that could have a chance at making fans believe there is hope next year.

I'm sorry but I just can't see how they Sabres would survive one game of playoff hockey. They might be able to hang for an odd period here and there but this team does not belong anywhere near this style of play.
