Unless Levi is brought up and can actually perform, these idiots need to trade as many 1st round picks and prospects needed to finally get a real goalie. Nothing else matters this season…

I think the problem is that this team would be sunk if they lost ANY of those 3 players (or Dahlin) for a long stretch of time.

Just another player that should have NEVER been on this team after drafted.

Dahlin I will submit to but Power should have spent another year in a league other than the NHL before he was on Sabres. AHL means nothing to me when it comes to being ready for the NHL (see Levi).

Power should have never started that first season Dahlin should never have started his first season either. Quinn was not ready Don't even get me started on Devon Levi

If they actually put Helenius on the roster and rush him, they need to move this team out of Buffalo. If they have not learned their lessons from the previous 100 mistakes of rushing players, I really do give up.

My worst nightmare is that they mis the playoffs again, have one of the best defensive groups, and are the most boring team in hockey to watch.

They could actually do something fun with that if they wanted to. Halloween video intro with players dressing up

I actually got a chuckle out of how freaking terrible those choices are. It fits in perfectly with the whole trainwreck of an organization. I mean, you really have to laugh that they can never get anything right😆 I suppose if you HAD to get the crowd to actually join in, Swords of a Thousand Men would have to be the choice.

Why does it seem that most teams have TWO goalies that can play starter level most of the time? I mean, how is Buffalo ever going to make a push if they don't even have one they can rely on. Maybe it is just because Buffalo is so inept that they continually make back-up goalies look superior year after year. Can you imagine how bad their record would have been if they constantly played against the starters?

I hope Lyon wins the job because I already know the other crap options far too well. I can't believe it was over 3 years ago when many thought Levi was the 2nd coming....yikes. I have given up on pretending Levi is anything other than a backup.

I would trade anybody on this team not named Dahlin. Make this trade happen please and bring some excitement back to the city.

I think there are zero expectations by fans to make the playoffs, but I do think there are expectations on certain players that will never be fulfilled.

The biggest paper tigers of all time. I will genuinely feel bad for these players when they are getting booed off the ice after 10 games and chasing 8th from the pit. It's really not their fault that they are paid like they are elite players, when in reality, they just got paid too early and fans expectations are totally unrealistic.

Everyone I know is already there, it's too late.

This team made me tired of hockey. My passion, which was equivalent to the Bills, has all but disappeared. That never happened, not even one year during the Bills 17 year drought. There is something very rotten about this team from top to bottom and I don't think it ever gets fixed. I didn't lose the passion because the team has been bad, I lost it because from the GM down to the players, they are about as unlikeable as a team can get. They lack talent, heart, and the in-game experience is practically unwatchable.

If this guy does not show he has an ounce of piss and vinegar in him this year, he is dead to me.

I would possibly be in and then you’ll see that I am the furthest thing from depressing that you can imagine. Just don’t pick a game vs any of the top 28 teams…..

The reason for no hope on my end is that I don't trust the owner or the GM to make the right decisions. Along the way, over the last decade, this organization has an absolute stink surrounding it. Until that changes, I will continue to remain mostly hopeless. Will I watch the first month of the season? Absolutely! Will I watch more than 1 minute a game if they are 8 points out of 8th in early December? Absolutely not.

There is patience and then there is the total failure of an organization. I don't blame the players, they were put in a terrible position from day 1. I will not reward an incompetent organization by continuing to burn money. They took that from me for decades until last year. They need to earn my fandom/$$ back...and I hope they do.
