Condoleezza Rice is going to be forced into the Republican nomination for 2016 whether she likes it or not. I have always thought she comes across glowingly and I would love nothing more than to see this happen. OR Rubio - Prez Rice - VP

I don't think I have ever been so fired up as I am about these idiot moderators who are clearly there to benefit Obama. Forget about the entire cover up that is going on at the top, there are blatant lies taking place on national tv. Who the hell knows what all these numbers each side is throwing around as I am sure both sides are fudging it on taxes, jobs, etc.. - this is a cover up on the assasination of a US Ambassador! I can't hold it in any longer - Obama makes me sick to my stomach and the fact that this Candy piece of shiit moderator backed up the lies is TOTALLY unacceptable. The headlines today are on "binders full of women" and not the cover up of an assasination?! ugh, just pathetic. Thank God I'll be at the Monday night game in Chicago next week so I don't have to see how they try and spin it next time... PS - I never air my political views but this one has me really ticked off. If the Democrats rolled out a bunch of great ideas and I firmly believed in what they were doing was working, you got my vote. I run with the person who I believe can fix this country and I have given up on Obama for that job.

I hope the headline on CNN.COM is that the moderator totally fcked up on the Benghazi statement as she even admitted as much. It was a reference to 9/11 she said. I'm sure Romney will be happy to clear that up in round 3

This is a Hell of a counter offer after the first joke was rolled out weeks ago. If the players are getting any more, it will be very little. This is a gigantic step for the NHL and I am guessing that they came with this offer and a take it or leave it type of attitude. The final monies will not be far from this proposal I bet.

Players are NOT going to get a better offer than this and the NHL KNOWS the public will be behind this 100%. I have ZERO sympathy for the players side if they don't take this because it ain't gettin' any better. I am actually shocked the NHL came forward this fast wanting to get the train back on track by 11/2. Even if the players don't take this, it is certainly something that should speed things up pretty quickly.

Just cancel the season and fix the game once and for all. I never thought I could have so little interest in the whole thing. Tuesday nights would have sucked anyway.....

True, but Bush had that fight in him. I don't see B.O as having the talent to pull off these debates, not even close. He very well may be re-elected but I think he is in for another long couple of nights. I still think the only reason B.O was elected to begin with is because so many people were down on Bush and B.O came in with his celebrity personality. I don't think one person can honestly admit that they voted for B.O on talent or experience. He was in the right place at the right time and he ran with it......

This is what I expect to happen and why I believe we are about to see a turning point. I think B.O is going to come out swinging in the next one (but in the wrong way) and will dig himself into a deeper hole.

They may not matter to you but they matter a whole hell of a lot to MANY MANY undecided people. B.O could not have looked any more on the defensive and it spoke pretty loudly to me.

Cancel the season already. I would be totally fine taking a break from the misery of Buffalo sports for a year. No hockey and the Bills season should be over in about 3 weeks. Hey, at least the Bills made September exciting 2 years in a row!

I was telling everyone who would listen that too many people people were concentrating on how bad the Jets O was going to be and not worrying about a defense that may be #1 in the league. You just knew our 3rd string QB was going to get ruined in NY

It's called sunshine but I can't get the "time for a champion" line out of my head. This will be blaring on my first drive to the arena this season.

Although I am not a big fan of BO, I did want to see his speech in case it was of the historic type and I gotta tell ya, it was like watching a balloon fly through the air while listening to the squeaking sound of it fizzling away. Instead of speaking with confidence, he just kept on saying how difficult it has been and how difficult it will be. Yes, it has been difficult but he had all the backing he could possibly want (those first 2 years especially) and not much was done. Compare the hope and change speech to this one and I see a guy who has lost his flare.

Do any of these idiots on stage really expect us to believe them (much less have SYMPOTHY for them) over their tough go of it. Only the zombies in the crowd get choked up when they hear these stories (which is what they are) about how they had holes in their cars and such. This goes for the Republicans as well as the Democrats and it is pretty funny to see people eat it up....
