I like what Vanek said after the game saying the crowd really does put a jump in their step. Atmosphere HAS to change in that rink as it's getting embarassing...

Well, Ruff is here to stay, the trade market is soft and Darcy is saying that this is the team that will have to fight through it. As a season ticket holder, there is no reason to be negative anymore as it's just not worth it. I am bringing home a victory tonight so that's that.

I have 12 games this season and my first one is supposed to be Montreal tomorrow night. I am trying desperately to sell tomorrow night and I have not even been to a game yet this year. Montreal on a Thursday night and I have not seen the team in almost a year? I REALLY wish the lockout could have lasted all season and I could have saved some money. I have more faith in the Bills being more entertaining than this crap.....

I am not even looking at win loss records right which is what's scary. Toronto has looked better in both games so far, Montreal destroyed them, Ottawa is playing GREAT hockey (without Spezza) and the Bruins, well, no need to go there. I really think this is going to be the worst season in quite some time and if Buffalo is planning on a coaching change, I really hope they do it by March. The new coach is going to have to install his new system and I don't want that to take place in October. 6 out of 7 last games have been losses and it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better. Waht in the world will happen if Vanek gets injured? This team will fall even faster than Lindy's approval rating right now...... Can we take a look at the teams these guys have lost to - Florida, Washington, Carolina twice, Montreal and Toronto. Aren't these the teams that were supposed to be fighting for the basement?

Here are the facts: Boston: Has not lost in regulation Playing at home Fully healthy and arguably the best team in the league right now Team toughness is still WAYYYYYY above and beyond what Sabres have (minus the 2 minutes Scott will get) Goaltending playing equal to Miller Buffalo: 4 game losing streak Defense is playing atrocious Miller still letting in the awful 3rd period goals Bottom line is that Buffalo will try and play like the season is on the line and that might not even be enough against a Boston team that sees Buffalo as a mosquito buzzing in its' ear. Can Buffalo pull off one victory if everything goes their way? Yes, but if these 2 teams ever played in a 7 game series this year, it would be embarassing. THAT is what management has to fix.....

No idea if Grig can turn into that guy or not. There are a number of 2nd line centers in this league who could easily become our number one guy. Those are the teams to target and if you give them a center back (Ennis) plus a combo of players/draft picks, you have your solution.
