How about offense? This team has been BEYOND boring for years and the atmosphere in the building is just ughhh, terrible. Does Myers bring that energy back? No, he doesn't. Someone like Kane paired with McDavid or Eichel will bring that energy back. Playoffs may not be back next year but excitement will be. As a season ticket holder, there is not ONE player on this team that makes me notice him. Would I rather have a NJ shut down type of D or a fast paced big hitting O? Where the hell is all this Lemieux talk coming from? Seriously, this is the kid that is pushing people over the ledge. Myers and Armia were automatics in this trade and extra assets that people did not want to give up is why Buffalo has Kane (not Montreal, Philly or the others that wanted him).

Does anybody realize how freaking BAD this team was going to be for at LEAST 2 more years before this deal got done. You want to watch the puke that has already been spit up on the ice over the last 2 seasons? Jesus H, after this year's draft, bringing in a top FA and adding Reinhart/Grigs to the lineup, it may almost be watchable next year.

Nobody knows shiit about this trade until Lemieux grows after a few years. Myers and Armia were pieces no matter what so how exactly do we lose right now?

The Kane trade will be the nail in the coffin (or pulling nail out of coffin) when either Stewart or Myers gets shipped out with a 1st and Kane can't even play. Pretty sneaky Tim.

I would be very confident that Kane produces WAY more than Ennis if you give him the top center on the way as well as either Moulson/FA. Kane has more potential and I don't give a crap what this kid does with his money. Build a freaking winner, not a team of mr nice guys.

This team REALLY sucks right now and if there is a chance to get Kane, do it now. Anyone having fun watching this shiitshow as it stands? They HAVE to take a chance at some point and Kane on the wing is just another building piece to what the ultimate goal is.

While it is nice to have sort of same logo back, it still bothers me to no end that they had to change the color from royal blue to almost black. And even though the Buffalo with cross swords is back, why did they have to add the outline? I am the first to admit that logos and colors are a BIG deal to me. The fact that I love the old Sabres uni more than any in the league makes it that much more difficult to swallow. There are probably 3 or 4 other other jersey I like more than ours right now so I am not just being biased to Buffalo...I REALLY love our original colors and logo. Does anyone know who the proper contact would be to make this suggestion? I can't think of a better time to introduce the colors than when our 2015 draft pick takes the stage. Want to make it a year from now when Buffalo hosts the draft, go right ahead.

I don't mind if Buffalo wins when they play well but games like this where Enroth is the only reason.....those are the worst.
