Buffalo will never institute Buffalo metro only ticket purchasing. Since the Rigas era they've worked hard to expand their market as far as possible to compete revenue-wise with the competing NHL cities. No stinking way they go back to local ticket revenue only. Too many tickets to be sold at higher prices to Canadian ticket purchasers especially.

I'm mostly in agreement with you re: Montour. I don't see his play as materially better than Scandella's for sure. Or Bogo to date. Or Miller for that matter. It seems right now we have 5 or 6 defenders that are pretty equivalent.

I’m not sure “good enough “ was the catalyst for the trade chatter. Granted, I’m putting words in someone else’s mouth. Is he the right person for this team to move forward was the question as I understood it. He’s been showing over the last few games that he could be the right person. Consistency will be the key.

I don’t think Johansson is getting enough credit in this thread. My eye test has him very good at entries and he just simply makes plays. He had a couple of beauty set ups in OT that didn’t get cashed in. Prior to his injury I would have called him our 2nd best forward.
