Ugh, Ive got to cross the Ontario penninsula, from Detroit to Buffalo tomorrow AM in yhis weather. I’m envisioning an 8+hr ride.

For whatever reason, TV did not inspire the fans. Maybe it was Vanek face. Maybe it was failing to live up to the expectations after 06-07. I didn’t buy into the idea that Vanek wasn’t leaving it all on the ice. I always felt his game looked uninspired, but he took his beatings to make plays and for alot of his time here made those plays with not much behind him. No reason for Vanek to hang his head over his time here. He was a star for us when we had very few.

I think you’re just supposed to watch the fancystats now.

Except we’ve watch Mitts make bad mistakes even now in the A, and you’re a fool to not expect it from a true rook. Vanek Roy Max had the benefit of a good start in Roc. If that is our 3rd line opening night Jbotts employment should be terminated.

I’m not convinced he’ll add more value than Sheary. Erod, sure. Even if he sits more than he plays he’ll bring something we don’t have when he does play. Erod is a lesser Sheary. We won’t miss him.

I'm not sure that is tangible, lol but yes, I expect with the moves today that the team does not falter down the stretch. If this team does fold, there are problems....

Are you expecting someone to make an unprovable claim of additional games won? I mean, this seems like something you should know better than to expect.

At a bare minimum we should not see an epic run for the bus in the last 15 games.

And Frolic is trusted with end of game ice time. I think he’s worth more to is than what is on the box score. I’d hang on to him for the season to keep this team on the right track but look to upgrade over the Summer.

If this team's roster is worse after the deadline I expect the effort on the ice will suffer for it.

I'm not sure I'd say consistent. But they are playing well much more frequently.

They have the exact record as this time last season. From this point on they only won 4 games to finish. The mail it in was just aobut to happen in earnest. Hopefully it doesn't repeat.

I really dig PMJ. Saw them play at UB a couple of years ago. They are very entertaining live.

I hated all of the mean spirited posts about him ealrier this season. He's not a force like he used to be but he's a true pro out there.

I saw on Twitter earlier today that if the won this game they would have the same record as this same point in the season last year. Let's keep these efforts up and get rolling for next season.

Very nice win. This is what we need to see alot of as the season closes out to get next season jump started.

Boy, you can almost feel Winnipeg starting to gel as the period got late. This is gonna be a tough game. We really needed a couple of those chances to go in. I'm not sure we get many more this game.
