I’m surprised to see so many Ruff apologists. He was a terrible hire. I’d rather they kept Donny and he changed some of his attributes (like taking off the kid gloves) But even firing Granato, surely there was a better hire than the aging Ruff. He had a very good NJ team and they missed the dance. He is doing nothing for this squad. His timeout last night proves it. This team is a disaster.

How about this. In the off season we fire everyone. Trade or cut every single player on the team and start from scratch. Boom, expansion team vibes.

So we win 3 then go winless in 13 and then win 3. Imagine not blowing Avs game. A few others in that stretch and instead of a 6-10-3 stretch, maybe a 9-7-3 happens and things aren’t so brutal in terms of challenging for a wildcard. That is why it’s imperative to get games to OT if you’re gonna lose.

As a BC resident I am not sold on EP40. He always gives a “whatevs” vibe. If I were the Canucks I would have made the proposed deal they had with Carolina last year. No offense to Buffalo the City, but Vancouver is a great place to live and play. I can see Petie fading into oblivion should he end up in Buffalo. Again no offense.

I do t think any of the core should be “allowed” to be traded. It would be a reward after they were rewarded with big fat long term deals. Make them have to play and stay. No gifts.

And the Buffalo Sabres once again, of the past 8 games, definitely were bad in 2 losses. The other 6 were all there for the taking. Incredible

No matter the game situation the Sabres find ways to not win. 4 goal lead, lose 5-4. Score 5, lose 6-5 score 2, lose by one. Score none, lose by one. Amazing how they find a way.

59 years old. Have friends texting me asking what’s wrong with this team. I tell them they’re all cookie cutter players on the same team. Told him I honestly don’t care anymore and won’t give my emotion to them again until/if they make playoffs.

I follow English Premier Football and the fans there do and will revolt if they’re not happy. But it takes a organized group of fans to make their statement. I truly believe that if enough people in Buffalo organized a protest and or revolt, whatever, it would send a message. But as another poster said, who has the time and more importantly, the energy to do this? Pegula needs to know fans are fed up. Stop buying tickets. Revolt. Organize. Get his attention. (Easy for me living in B.C., I know) The downside to this could be a be careful what you wish for scenario, where he sells and someone relocated the team.

I’m totally shocked at how BAD Quinn has been. Cozens will be fine, when he’s traded. He’ll fit right in Vancouver. But sadly that is what he’s supposed to do for us.
