Clifton is very bad at hockey

I’ll say this. I haven’t seen Hughes get hit that many times in a period the entire season.

A game ripe for the taking. How they have such a garbage pp with the talent is amazing. Coaches need going. And we need to trade some skilled fwds for tougher players. Is EJ done? Broken bone?

We are down 3 defensive players now. I appreciate his effort but a forward needed to take that fight.

And the oldest player on the team has to send the message. And another defender down. This team is just awful.

Our team has the personality of its coach. Too passive, too accepting.

I’m done with this league. Honestly that’s a penalty?

Bun, I agree. I think it’s tough on a guy like Tage. He clearly likes Donny as he lifted him up and look what he became. But he also probably knows that they need to be pushed harder and that Donny needs to go. I think we will be a better team when a new coach who’s got some stones and will make this team understand there are no more free rides.

The nhl and their stupid sometimes 2 pt sometimes 3 pt games will keep the illusion that the Sabres can make the dance but we won’t get close. My guess is we get 80 pts. another year of waiting. On the upside, no stress.

The Canucks got their Boudreau bounce when he came in (kinda like granato) but there was no accountability, nobody worried about sitting, no pp or pk structure. I am stunned at the Canucks this year. Tocchet and company don’t mess around and players play hard almost every night. DG should be praised for getting a lot of the kids but it’s clear it’s too country club still. The Sabres need some extreme tough love and structure.

Well, there’s not a lot of room left but you can jump on the Canucks’ bandwagon if you hurry.

A bag skate would prove better entertainment than you home fans get on a regular basis.

Let’s hope Kulich pans out for us. Östlund too.

Merry Christmas! My son bought us tix to Canucks/Sabres in Vancouver. Down low 10th row on the face off dot where Sabres shoot twice. He got them back in Oct. thinking we’d be battling for the top of the league and playing the up and coming Canucks. Oh how things are different.

Until he didn’t.
