  1. I'm good with firing him; I've literally given him every olive branch, mulligan, excuse in the book and he continues to just shove them in my face. Zucker with another goal; guy should of been extended for a year or two yesterday. He plays exactly the way we need with his net front presence as well general grit (hits occasionally but generally plays hard) Dahlin gets another assist as he is likely getting back spasms trying to haul the corpse of the team around.
  2. Trading Dahlin is a complete nonstarter. I’m done with trading our best player to other teams. As for the rest of your review post it makes sense. I like many others have begged the team to get a couple defensive first Dmen to play with Dahlin and Power, now Power and Byram since Dahlin is good enough to work with most. Frankly I just don’t understand why we haven’t because it’s not as if all D first players are extremely expensive or trade protected. And they do have some degree of value in the style based on Muel’s contract and yet the only rumored target was Pesce 2 years ago. It’s baffling and begs to question if it’s more anti-vet convincing related or monetary demands/term demands. Like why is there seemingly a 1/2 over 30 limit on the team? We have Reimer and Zucker, everyone else is at most 30 whereas most of the team doesn’t cross the 25yrs old mark. All I can fathom is Adams has no interest in convincing vets to come here in the slightest and is perfectly happy with a plethora of young players trying to learn everything on the fly. Which rarely works. The CHL rule robbed Benson of AHL time to grow since Jrs wouldn’t have served him well in the slightest.
  3. No problem, hope your new job is going well lol
  4. Well they traded 1 Dman for 2 Forwards so bringing Ryan Johnson up wouldn't make much sense.
  5. I firmly agree, I'd love another Zucker; but at this point of the season you don't move your 1st. The past offseason was when you could; now you would just look shortsighted and dumb.
  6. Well with where we are in the Standings few really want to chase down negative results with further negative future impacts
  7. Kevyn's only boldness comes from typing out emails or word documents. Frankly he's more of an italics or underline guy.
  8. Well Dahlin is playing very well Power is more of a shrug The last thing Buffalo needs is another blunder in the eyes of the media at large. And trading a high lottery pick for a player is very rare; I can't even think of an example of it happening.
  9. You don't trade the potential 1st Overall for a player The other part is we have to subtract a player for the roster spot more or less.
  10. Never knew that frankly. Although if the Avs player purposely makes contact from the bench I do think there is a slightly different rule but I'm not sure.
  11. They actually won a draw with about 25 seconds left and shot it out but it hit a Colorado bench glove and the refs rules it as if it were a Sabres glove.
  12. Trying to prevent a cross crease attempt seeing as they love to do that throw to the front and jam play.
  13. Would you blame him; I'm pretty much there myself.
  14. The only luck we get is bad luck or no luck. Block the shot and it goes right to another Avs player.
  15. These refs just letting Colorado commit garbage
  16. Zucker draws a call after a hefty hit
  17. The first one I’m unsure how it even made it based on Benson’s shot of the puck. Avs guy got away with a rather absurd slash on Benson’s stick on the 2nd one. Kid is a rat for sure.
  18. Love Zucker, guy has been a solid signing from Game 1 to Game 39 thus far; rarely have we seen that
  19. I was meaning in the sense we went to the Finals to be honest; I was 6 years old in 99' lol
  20. Such a weird team 3Ws then 13Ls only to follow that with 3Ws again. UPL stole us a game, good to see and hopefully they play up to Dallas
  21. I still don’t agree on the effort point to be perfectly honest; I see much of it as paralysis through analysis. I see them working hard but not smart or standing around trying to figure out what they should be doing. That said I do think as the streak continued, their effort seemed to more quickly evaporate if the game started to get away or generally bad puck luck piled up. Granted it could have been all of the above with a cascading effect. Thompson starts over thinking the game, Tuch starts trying to do to much and that uncertainty and confusion trickles down to other players who see indecision and begin to doubt themselves and thus lose their confidence and stop playing hard because of it. If you don’t trust yourself to make the play then you’re unlikely to play fast because you fear the consequences of failure. So you slow down to ease the pressure, well that means your teammates slow down to adapt and thus a vicious cycle starts. in some regard it feels like Tuch took each loss on the chin before almost mentally breaking. At around game 6 or so he started yelling at players off and on going off for intermissions. His skating and skills seemed to diminish and he looked dead during post game. I’d almost say he’s too much like us fans. He takes games extremely personally regardless of his play/effort and then tries to fix it himself. And then all but blows a gasket with imaginary hoops he believes will help. It’s the double edged sword of playing for the team and coach you grew up loving; in victory you have even more confidence and skill whereas the opposite also is true upon multiple losses. Essentially simplifying his game during a losing streak runs counterintuitive to his desire to help lift the entire team immediately.
  22. Rasmussen doesn't exactly have great stats nor analytics as well as 4x3mil+ contract. It may be solely a look to shakeup their roster. Jokiharju and Lafferty for Petry and Rasmussen
