  1. Eerie, I mentioned something of that nature back in January. Bum bum bum
  2. 1st Round Winners Colorado Chicago Anaheim LAK Boston Montreal Pittsburgh Rangers Round 2 Winners Chicago LAK Boston Pittsburgh Round 3 Winners Chicago Boston Winner Chicago So I pretty much feel this year's playoffs will end up very similair to last year.
  3. - Leino bought out - Buffalo drafts Reinhart - Ott resigns with Buffalo - Morrow joins the Sabres - Moulson and Callahan offered contracts, 1 signs - Tallinder is the only D UFA/RFA to rejoin the Sabres - McBain's rights are dealt in a bigger trade - Girgs will gain an A - Ott gets the C back - Isles defer - Blues are eliminated in the 1st round by Chicago - Myers, Ennis, and Foligno stay - Ennis/Hodgson have trade rumors circulate but nothing happens Next Year -Briere signs a 1/2 year contract then retires a Sabre
  4. 26C thank you for your amazing GDT's . I hope to see them again next year.
  5. Sign Callahan, Ott, and Moulson if at all possible. Resign Tallinder, Ennis, etc. Trade McBain and Ill survive one more tank year.
  6. If I had to guess, it was the fact they went out west for 3 road games, then back east for a road game, then south, and then home. If anything I think TM would of felt switching the Nashville and Montréal games would of made more sense. Due to that ordering it made flight time far more than should of been needed.
  7. Zadorov has 3-2-5 in the 3 gms he's played thus far in the OHL playoffs. Keep in mind he played 20 games in last year's playoffs and racked up only 2-4-6.........
  8. No, however if we loaded with injuries to the offense I might dress 7 D and have him play some 4th line minutes.
  9. I highly doubt that. No owner in his right mind would buy them with the intention of moving the team ASAP due to the 400m penalty. They may buy them with future intentions but not immediately RIP Mr. Wilson, we'll miss you
  10. I would say that Hodgson is very likely to be a solid #2 center who will facilitate and in tandem improve his wingers' output. Kassian on the other hand has the potential to be a 1st line winger but his work ethic is questionable at best. Hodgson is a smaller risk while Kassian could become a larger reward. My question would be ...... How would Kassian do under Nolan's system which contradicts his work but compliments his skills
  11. What would you guys do if during the offseason Callahan, Ott, and Moulson all want to play for the Sabres?
  12. I'd rather keep Myers than trade him and draft Ekblad. I'd rather deal with the player we know than a player we don't. However if Edm offered us their 1st in 2014 and 2015 I might be tempted. I don't get this obsession with trading Myers, I'd like us to have some competent players on our team next year..... I don't want us to be so bad that we break records.
  13. I agree with all of this, give Scott some non-player job. He may be unskilled but he truly does give his all and has a sense of humor; he's probably a real nice guy.
  14. It seems to be always the case that Buffalo teams end up on the bad side of league changes. I can see it now..... Sabres end in 30th and then pick 4th or 5th forcing us to endure more miserable seasons. Give us McDavid and I'm positive we make the playoffs in 2016 or 2017
  15. If we have the #1 and lets say #3 or 4 this year, would you think about taking Ekblad #1 to force Edm to trade? Seeing as Bennett, Reinhardt, or Draistl will still be around at #4 regardless.
  16. For a change I fully want Buffalo to win. We have an 8pt lead to use and knocking the Isles further down would assist the tank. Beat the Isles both times, lose to Edm, Calgary, and Florida(do we play them anymore) If we accomplish that we may be able force NYI to join us in the bottom two.
  17. Well his uncle has been here forever so he could vouch for the city, as for the Sabres....... we are the opposite of the Islanders front office wise. Other than that we'd have to hope he'd like our prospect pool more than the Islanders.
  18. Lol good one. If he demands to leave they will. My idea would be Ennis, the 2014 1st rounder we have, we return their pick, Ruhwedal, and Armia. I would deny them any of our big Defence prospects and Girgs. I'd offer them Grigs in place of Armia, Ennis or a 1st. Since this scenario has Tavares wanting out, this assists us by forcing the price down some. Plus with Garth Snow, if we give him shiny things he may become dazed. If St. Louis can fetch a 1, Callahan, and a conditional 2nd I would assume Tavares would at very least require 2 high 1sts a roster player or two, and a couple prospects.
  19. What do you guys think he thinking about in regards to the chaos on his team?
  20. Wouldn't mind this at all. Wouldn't mind ozalins for a year either if he were willing to come out of retirement.
  21. Any updates on Girgs' injury? We've gotten updates on Stewart and Mitchell but nothing on Girgensons
  22. Players who may be interested: (reasons) Ott (location, experience and family) Moulson (expeience, money, terms of contract would likely be the biggest point) Callahan (hometown team and money) Jagr (money and could be deadline bait again) Whitney (money) many other older players looking for a job and a cash out
  23. I almost wonder if they took him for a contract dump, but also to be a vet D-man for the Amerks playoff push thus why they are so angry with him
