Tuch is a Mid6 winger who is an incredible asset because he steps up his play in the playoffs. He’s the type of player you pretty much require in order to win a Stanley Cup, a Mid 6 winger who becomes a Top 6 winger in playoff competition.

I’m hoping he has a healthy life but never gets a Cup or gets to play in Boston. Essentially I’m hoping his doctors will recommend he retire at his contract’s end for safety concerns. Is that wrong? Leave them in college for 1.5 more years and there is a good chance one or both leave. I do honestly think Levi might be ready for AHL hockey. Plus at least then Rochester actually has a prospect goalie instead of a myriad of randomly generated names.

Dell is our 5th string goalie at this point He technically doesn’t need to be an NHL goalie. Anderson is 40, he wasn’t a greatly durable 1G but one would of thought we could get 25 games out of him. Tokarski was our 2G and ended up getting serious enough COVID to keep him out 6+ weeks. UPL was supposed to be out 1G but ended up out 3G. Played well, now he’s hurt as well. We grabbed Subban for free to force Dell down to 5G. He’s been spotty but now he’s hurt. There isn’t a team in the NHL that has 5 goalies deep depth that does so purposely.

Well he could endlessly sit on the bench in Vancouver if he prefers. Also Halak reported from what I recall, he was the backup for one game before we sent him to Washington for Neuvirth.

The Sabres seem to have given up after the combination of almost every chance they had going in and us being incapable of cashing in anything. Since the 2nd PP it has just spiraled.
