Just ticks me off that this is yet another player that riles up the "No one likes Buffalo" crowd. Those people can go burn in hell -

My guess would of been 16 for 7 + Murray and another pick -

Well, at least that shows the Pegulas were willing to spend money and Adams is looking under every rock for potential upgrades in net -
What did you think of my recent offer idea?
-
I was able to get an Ottawa fan to agree to 9 for 7, 87(Bos's 3rd), Murray and their 2023 2nd. I think its pretty good to be honest.

Pisses me off we play MTL and TOR only 3 times. Only makes it’s harder for us to make the playoffs since others get an easier schedule with MTL x4

Murray + 7OA for 28OA Sign Eric Comrie 1x2.5mil Just hold onto Anderson as an emergency goalie
-
I’d love to make this deal but I’d worry KA would decide this would be the goaltending tandem for the year.
-
I’d eat his salary but have no interest in using him in the NHL
-
That still depends based on years. I’ll overpay for two years but I’m not willing to eat a terrible contract for an average goalie.

2022 UFAs, Who do Sabres have a chance at
thewookie1 replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Aud Club
His contract was really bad for his positional depth and next year his buyout became 2/3rds versus this year's 1/3rd He was at 3x4.75 as a 3/4C -
McDonagh is still a solid player, however Nashville now has 4 32+ year old Dmen under contract for at least 3 more years.

Joy….. we have use assets to gain mediocrity

Happy Independence Day! The day we told the Brits that we wanted to not be their colony anymore. We had a couple scuffles and then eventually worked things out and are now great allies. A couple days ago was Canada Day where Canadians told the Brits, can we not be a colony and the Brits said sure with conditions. We are like the rebellious first child that Britain learned their parenting skills with and then Canada is the younger brother whom they used said knowledge on. Australia and New Zealand are the twins, Australia is a wild child whereas New Zealand is more cool and collected. South Africa is the child with emotional problems that likely needs to see a therapist India/Pakistan/Etc were the exchange students Britain brought home and begrudgingly let go back to their old home…. Eventually.

Pretty much this; Adams isn’t going to cannonball into the pool of cap they have barring he sees the puzzle piece he needs at the bottom. They call Free Agency the “Silly Season” for a reason and Adams seems to full embrace that idea. With all this cap space, we are capable of absorbing literally any cap hit in the league and not blink. Add to that we have already have a “functional roster” once our RFAs are signed. The goaltending would be highly suspect but rarely can a team theoretically fill a roster with 23 guys and a 5mil IR guy without even approaching 15mil left in cap space region. This being almost entirely due to the number of ELCs on the roster and a couple cheap bridges. How many teams could honestly call up Chicago and offer them 21mil in cap space? And still have little trouble getting under the cap.

Scotland Independence Referendum

The only reason I want it to fail is because it will truly end Great Britain and weaken our strongest ally. -
The only primary change is DeBrincat going to NJD for the 2nd OA and perhaps other stuff is swapped too.

Buffalo is probably offering 2 year deals to goalies at high prices. Then saying anything longer kills the AAV. Perhaps Husso sees merit in a 2x6/7mil contract? Curious that we are interested in Marchant.
-
Entirely different circumstances. We lack a Kopitar and Doughty. Chicago could of fixed their team akin to LAK but instead blew it with Seth Jones. You can’t just shove players into a growing group of guys and expect them to immediately take their place in the roster. That is why you must find the “right” good players not just good players.
-
I wouldn’t go the last 2 at 9 but certainly to any of them at 16
-
I’d be eh more than meh but close enough. He sounds like a good prospect but I’d rather get a C with a bit more upside and motor

Sabres Re-Sign Craig Anderson to 1 Year 1.5 Million AAV Extension

But why should we give a damn what he wants? If he becomes a UFA he’s dead to me.
