  1. Happy for the kid
  2. One thing that never came to mind that makes this pick far better; the guy may not be huge but he plays with a hard hat every shift and plays a 200ft game. That is something that is vital on every successful team.
  3. Seems like a Buffalo trend in drafts
  4. It gives a nice bit of redundancy and allows us to move a guy like Rosen or Östlund without worry
  5. I'm curious in what way would the board fall where we'd want to move down
  6. Ugh, the two guys I liked were taken
  7. I'd love to imagine Price honestly just blanked on his last name.
  8. Rumors are floating about Marcus Foligno getting a 3/4 year extension. That would be kinda insane seeing as he’d be 33 when he starts that contract
  9. I wouldn’t do it if it’s a rental
  10. I’d guess VO and a 2nd this year and next
  11. I wholeheartedly disagree That way of thinking will turn the NHL into the NBA with players jumping ships constantly and all that BS
  12. It could also mean that teams aren't interested in 13 in a trade for a defenseman and continually insist on Savoie, Kulich, etc. However he sees avenues to move up with picks.
  13. Pesce; while older, he fits everything we need and is a RHD.
  14. Dear lord what overpay.
  15. There wasn’t, however Philly is going to retain going back. It’s to prevent a guy signing for team, then being traded to a 2nd team to merely retain and then send back
  16. https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/732049?post_id=4224472 still would have an issue in goal
  17. Carolina can’t re-acquire Deangelo until 1 year after sending him to Philly due to the retention Philly is doing.
  18. Good Rochester player who can be a call up in emergencies.
  19. With it being 6.5mil I’m certainly tempted to take that approach. If he can unlock Power and give us a Top 4 that nears the top of the league then it’s certainly worth it.
  20. I'm completed disinterested in trading Peterka or Quinn. It feels like it would be a slap in the face of their whole strategy of building a culture here. Primarily due to the connections JJ and Quinn have along with the other youngsters on the roster. Also Peterka just strikes as the type of player who will step up in the playoffs and would be very hesitant to trade a young player with "it"
  21. Hope not seeing that he isn't half-bad
  22. Begs to question if this means anything in regards to Pesce.
  23. Seems a tad costly
