I’ve always seen it as grit - a player’s toughness and ability to take hits and keep going sandpaper - a player’s proclivity to stir things up on the ice via physical play and/or stickwork (they grind opponents down) physicality - usually refers to a player’s willingness to engage in checking other players

Evolving Hockey Contract Projections 2023 Offseason

Not paying Power 6 years, either 8 or bridge Based on Thompson and Cozens I could see Dahlin signing for 9.9mil for 8 years -

Don't say that; never give the world any reason to bring that to fruition -

I want Ruff to win it finally, I’m not going to fault the modern Devils for Lou’s impact on that team’s identity for 30 years. -
Every team I wanted to lose, won. Burn in hell Leafs

I also hate their arena name, just sounds dumb

I don't see that here to be honest I see a daughter grieving the loss of her mother as she knew her and a mother wanting to fight get back to her previous self which may or may not be impossible. It's akin to my uncle who had a stroke back in January; he's rehabbing to reach his previous self but may never truly return to the same exact person he was prior. I'd guess its much like that for Kim and her family.

One of the better coach blow ups I’ve seen; he was seriously angry with his team. I’m

I’d be happy with 1-8 conference like they had before. Give Division leaders 1,2 and the rest are a free for all in the East or West respectively. Rivalries will still occur plenty often but playoff seeding won’t be decided by November.

I'll always celebrate any victory no matter how small 🙂

Not been a fun day Toronto wins Vegas wins Tampa needs to figure it out and kill the Leafs before their fans no longer have that great Achilles heel of having not won a series in a longer time than Buffalo. Vegas I expected to likely win but it ticks me off seeing Eichel all happy when he tried to #### us.

Interestingly enough the two teams in the other group are both 8-0 going into the conference final

We haven’t moved up once. We won 2 lotteries when we had pick 1 and kept pick 1.

If Okposo retires or even just wishes to play his minimum to hit 1000 games then retire I wouldn't hate Toews for a single year.
-
Toronto averaged 21.65 hits per game Tampa averaged 24.71 hits per game Who's to say our players would also not suddenly increase their hit output like everyone else has?

Maybe not physically enough for your 80/90's era desires but their hearts would be certainly in the right place.

Imagine getting Bertuzzi and Clifton, wouldn’t be a bad jolt to our physical play

Ironic how Power looks more like a traditional Swedish defenseman in style and Dahlin looks more like a Canadian in style

Which one, the musician or the closer?

Faceoffs and skating distance would both be effected by Wing versus Center His role with Cozens was to primarily be a triggerman since he couldn't bend as well and since the role at center is far more intensive 200ft; wing allowed him to focus on pain tolerance and aiding the offense anyway he could.

Thompson will be the 1C next year as long as he is healthy enough to do so. It will give Granato some peace of mind however that Mitts can fill in if Tage were to get hurt. The 2C is Cozens next season, he’ll likely be back with the kids. The third line is where it gets interesting. In the case that Savoie makes the team; my guess is he’ll tag team the 3C role with Mitts along with Greenway or another seasoned winger. The general idea being to protect the young smaller C with Mitts able to take C when needed and “Greenway” being a deterrent and help defensively. The 4th line is the most troublesome due to the fact this scenario already rules out Kulich. Krebs is the 4C because that’s the only place left for him and he’s pretty good in that pesky role. (He also seems to relish it) The two wings however create a shmozzle. I’d guess both Okposo and Girgensons have first dibs if they wish to return. Jost and Rousek likely end up as the potential 13th/14th forwards. Additionally you could see Okposo bequeath his C to another if he’s only intending to play as an extra in order to reach 1000 games. Girgensons may end up in Pittsburgh since his wife is from there.

Do you want a 1st line in Rochester of L Mitts - Tyce - L Tuch? 2 Lukes and a Tyce?

That might be difficult lol
