The joke may be over but for many the Sabres are the laughingstock of the league. A sad sack organization that just can't seem to get it right even when they do get it right ( see PF ). This is one year nobody will forget for all the wrong reasons.

It'll be nice when this game is over. The real season begins for me and I'm sure for most on this board with the Lottery, draft and offseason where TM can really start to put his stamp on this team. Let the housecleaning begin. Hopefully when the dust settles we'll have a better idea of a team identity moving forward. Its pretty exciting if you ask me. Crawling from the wreckage of this trainwreck of a season and looking forward. Who needs a friggin rear view mirror. With that being said, GO SABRES ! We need this win.

The one thing I would take away from the big hit on DP was that maybe DP was in a vulnerable position with the way he was leaning forward but aside from that it was a good hit. Terrible on ice call there and something I've come to expect now.

Its hard to be upset with this league and their tilted ice officiating when really its become the norm. You would like to see fair and impartial but their track record speaks for itself.

When this league gets its head out of its ass and puts an ex official with 25 years experience at ' discipline ' in charge of discipline we'll see stuff like headshots eliminated. I hate that damn logo but I wear it with pride just to spite him and to gauge the strange looks I get from people. I had one guy say " seriously. You're a Sabres fan ?
