    It goes to show that many of these executives got to where they are more on luck or right place right time rather than smarts. He may be right in his assessment of Grigs but everyone knows this is just poor judgement in making these thoughts public. What about his value to the organization in a trade ? Talk about lessening an assets value. Doh !

    Thats why it was so important to jettison Regier and bring in a new philosophy. Its starting to change slowly as we draft players with size, grit and talent near the top of the draft. More are on the way. Too bad TP didn't start with a clean slate when he bought the team. We'd possibly be entering a real competitive phase after 4 years when the kids were finally putting it all together.

    A guy I work with has a son thats paralyzed and plays wheel chair basketball in a league. The father and a couple of his brothers play as well. Each team is allowed to carry a certain amount of able bodied people since there really isn't an unfair advantage for the able bodied. Maybe at the grass league level similar rules apply for sled hockey ?

    A very interesting episode. Two children killed off and Carol fessed up about her roll in the prison murders of the 2 sick characters. 2 more episodes and they should get even crazier based on this one. Can't wait.

    The problem is most of the guys that do work hard are talentless pugs.

    Nolan has most of these guys playing hard. The floaters and the guys who don't go to the dirty areas will hopefully be gone soon. Thats on management to get that fixed. Nolan can't fix that.

    Because the Amerks will miss him ( and I remain hopeful ) its because he'll hurt the tank. But more than likely he'll help the tank.

    This really doesn't surprise me at all. Any chance this league has to screw the Sabres they'll take it. I'd rather lose the pick to an expansion franchise than to see someone like Philly or Boston or anyone non deserving as Shrader puts it get that kid. But the Sabres or another team with a general suckitude in line with the Sabres shouldn't be screwed out of that pick simply because that year happens to have a generational talent. Its bush league to change the rules for that reason.
