The fact that those two ( Johnson/Palat ) are both 23 and MacKinnon is 18 says a lot. Mac will win and rightfully so but imagine how good he'll be at 23.

If his government can send him to war at 18 he should be able to drink. Just sayin.

I know. It doesn't make much sense that they didn't mention the hit to the head in their explanation. Thats why I threw it out there. To see what people thought of that. I wasn't arguing either way. Maybe they're getting concerned with these class action lawsuits that are cropping up. Who knows ? Seems strange to me. From their track record of dealing with these hits I doubt its from concern for the injured player.

I may be wrong but I have heard that the league made no mention of the head or the hit to the head in their explanation of the suspension and the reasons for the suspension. Apparently there was enough to suspend regardless of the headshot ?

Hey. We're half way there. Why change tactics now ? Play every game like its your last and end the season bottom 3 because we lack talent. Easy peasy. Thats not tanking thats unfortunate. Reap the benefits in 2 to 3 years and enjoy some of what you're seeing in Colorado this post-season.

Truth is as many as I know that hate them there's just as many love them. A few friends I know bleed for that team. I've always hated the forum bias thats really being noticed in this playoff. Calls should go both ways and might even out in a 7 game series but this ones probably only going 4 and the habs have benefitted from some bad calls in the first 3. Well, especially tonight. C'est la vie.

Luckily we don't all turn into habs fans because the Canadians are the only team in the show. I'm pretty sure hockey fans in Canada will watch the games even without a Canadian team to cheer. I hate the Habs and so do most people I know. Looks like they might sweep, bastards.
