Lets be honest here. For Bettman if you are part of the 1% i.e. a billionaire, you are the man. In Pegulas case he can’t get out of his own way and he puts his trust in yes men. Certainly not in alphas who have proven they know their way around this league and have had success.

I chose Toronto but honestly my first thought was, like Promo, where are the Sabres ? To be clear I’m a fan but…the ownership, management and parts of the coaching staff are certainly hated by this fan. As to the poll I chose Toronto mainly because being Canadian and having the Leafs in your face whether you want it or not is a cruel form of torture.

What I’m reading here is more hope and prayer of being MAYBE the width of an asshair better than last season. This alone speaks volumes of how badly KA has done to improve this team. 4 points better? Six? We have simpletons running this team. Sorry for the negativity to those that preach patience but I’m all out. As others have said I’ll believe it if and when I see it. They are treading water.

The photo is telling isn’t it? The body language is pretty shocking for a new hire in a professional setting. 3rd wheel and all that. Terry likely has the heat off to save pennys.

Pretty much a fail on day 1. We all understand free agency is not a good time to add players. But TP and by extension KA continue to do what they do well to keep this team irrelevant and pretty much a clown show. Just give us some hope for once will ya.

I suppose Rob Ray gets a happy sticker under this new plan. He’s the most non critical member of the crew.

Its beginning to look less like Christmas. Quick, someone loosen Terrys purse strings and stuff him in a closet. My faith in Adams getting anything tangible done is done actually. But what can ya do? There’s always next year.

Its hard to get excited with any of this. I want to win now damn it. I don’t hate the pick but how does this help us now ? Not even a little bit. Kevin doesn’t know how to improve the team now nor does he know how to improve the team 4 years from now when this kid may play. Its a shell game and he’s in over his head. I can’t even stand to listen to him. Do something tangible that makes this team cook this season. Use the supposed brains in the er um ‘war room’ and give us something.
