Yeeeeessss

It's my curse bro, haha

I could have sworn we traded Savoie for the present.

Tell him hello back.

You're exactly right. He's 22 years old and shouldn't need any help at the NHL level. I mean if he was the 4th pick, yes, but #1 overall picks shouldn't need any time or help from teammates. Everyone knows defenseman take the shortest time to develop especially when they're 6'6". There's never been an example in all of sports, let alone the NHL, that taller kids need even more time. It's absolutely lunacy.

Do You Like The JJP for Kesselring/Doan Trade RIGHT NOW?
7+6=13 replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
Let's go SS. Just voted and saw the results so far. I'm impressed with us. -
Exactly, with players like JJ, so it's time for a change. We all like JJ offensively, after that, not much to like. He's just not the type of player we need, especially for that kind of money. We must move away from the soft one way players. I don't believe any of us would have been thrilled with that contract, especially if we had to potentially pay even more. Doesn't mean he's not a good player but our style of play must change.

I was just going to ask something similar, but wasn't including next years. I suppose we would then move Tage back to center? If this is possible.

If it's TBD then why do we get trashed for it until Norris doesn't get hurt or plays good? We're an illogical fan base now, largely . Cozens sucks and you're too scared to say it. Especially at his ridiculous salary. In hindsight, I would have traded him for nothing, we got better just not having him on the ice. Let alone for anything Norris brings.

Kevyn Adams pre draft press conference and shenanigans festival
7+6=13 replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
I really disagree that he has trade value. At minimum, partial evidence is the buyout rumors or truth of it. Players get bought out because they can't be traded. I'm not saying it's impossible that he's traded. IMO, if he is traded, we'll have to overcome his negative value and give up more or receive less. -
I totally agree. Who cares if winning matters to the tourist or visiting fan. I'm a Yankees fan, if I visit Fenway should they worry about entertaining me? The only main focus in any arena, for that arena, should be winning for the people that are fans of the team playing in said arena. Yeah I'm good with making it fun for the kids and different "levels" of food options, rich people/poor people, everyone in between. But asking if winning matters to a person not a fan of the two teams playing? Who cares! One they're already there, so you already got 'em and two they'll enjoy it more if the home team goes bananas. How could any organization spend time caring if that person or people come back, next time they're in the area?

Oh ok, so spell check got ya. I thought you kept typing allowed.

Allowed isn't the question and it's not, IMO. Are there fights in basketball? Are there fights in football? Are there fights in baseball? Are there fights in college wrestling? Yes

Rasmus Dahlin Named to Sweden's Preliminary Olympic Roster
7+6=13 replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Not surprising to anyone I'm sure, he's one of the best players in the world. -
Maybe he should get a couple tips from the owner of the Bills and Bandits to build a base of, what was it called, "Raucous Bandit fans". One poster on SS keeps repeating himself that an upgraded goalie and a few mid level player (no blockbuster) moves, would make the Sabres a playoff team. Would you mind explaining to him that he shouldn't feel that way because this is the worst situation in the entire NHL?

Chad D: expect a Byram trade at or around the draft
7+6=13 replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
Just so we understand each other (not assuming you care to). I'm not trying to support an ancillary point by saying he won the Mitts trade. You're trying to draw concussions from that and there's no dots to connect. It may surprise you that I agree with most of you said above, except the "who cares?". I think it does matter that we have the better player out of that situation as we hope to be moving forward. It's actually how you move forward. It's small thing, but it's a thing. If we string together things, something can happen. Of course only my opinion. You of course wouldn't hope we lost that trade in retrospect, would you? Then you'd be guilty of feeding an agenda. So if the answer is no, that you wish we actually lost the trade. Then you know who does care? You and me. -

Ever hear the saying, they can't see what's right in front of them? That's you. Stop pretending I said anything close to something that would warrant your response. He won the Mitts trade.
