  1. You have to make changes tomorrow, right? Isn’t the only immediate change to fire Adams? You can’t fire Ruff, and there is no one I would trust in the organization to make anything close to the appropriate roster moves.
  2. What an absolute embarrassment. This feels utterly hopeless.
  3. How many more years does Kevyn Adams get? His roster construction is terrible, and he handed out some absolutely atrocious contracts to the “core.” It’s bananas that a guy with his background was given to the keys to run an NHL franchise. It’s beyond bananas that this guy continues to have the keys to run an NHL franchise.
  4. Maybe it’s recency bias, but I have never enjoyed a Bills season as much as this one.
  5. If you haven’t had a chance to watch McDermott and Bass in the locker room, definitely check it out. A great display of emotion. It appears Sean is a very good, decent man. And it appears that locker room is awfully close. This has been a fun season.
  6. I don’t know who these guys are, but playing with some intensity and some intelligence. Let’s go boys! Show us you want it.
  7. The Cup felt so close in ‘06. Now, it has never felt further away. Adams has to make a significant trade, or Terry has to get a new GM. I don’t trust either of them to make the right move.
  8. Haha. Fair. Trying to convince myself that the journey is often the best part of being a fan.
  9. This is the kind of move that should fire-up that locker room. Big win in NJ last night, and then your GM demonstrates belief by addressing an obvious need. Loved JA17’s emotion after that game-clinching scramble. Hope this is the beginning of a season-defining six weeks.
  10. You’re killing me, McClappy!
  11. I love what Pegula did for Buffalo in buying the Bills. However, it’s getting awfully hard to deny that the Sabres have been a train wreck since Pegula purchased our favorite hockey team.
  12. Obviously a rough weekend for the local sports teams. By next Tuesday, we should have a decent sense of the Sabres’ early season resilience and whether the Bills are back on track or in free-fall mode. Appreciate the break from now until Thursday.
  13. How do you end the game like that? How?
  14. Yowza. I wish these guys knew how much we would embrace a winning team. Maybe they do know, but don’t care? Way too early to judge this squad. However, an absolute stinker overseas is not the way to turn the page on the recent past.
  15. Let’s go boys. Be a tough team to play against.
  16. It’s probably due to watching too many Lindy interviews, but I am exceedingly excited to watch this squad. Nice to have a Sabres distraction after the Bills dud on Sunday night!
  17. Incredible. Absolutely incredible display so far. So much fun to watch.
  18. It is just such a delight watching Josh Allen. He reminds me of Barry Sanders in that there is always a possibility that he might do something that should only happen in a video game.
  19. Impaired driving doesn’t seem to receive the notoriety that it did a few decades ago. Given the available transportation options in today’s world, it is an even more reprehensible act of recklessness.
  20. Brothers together for a bike ride days before their sister’s wedding. Awful.
  21. Agreed on both sentiments. This certainly looks like the embodiment of “in sickness and in health.” So, maybe that is what Terry is supposed to do. But, this just makes me respect Terry a lot. Looks like pure devotion. And, the picture demonstrates the fight in Kim.
  22. I always enjoyed John Murphy. As a yute, used to listen to his sports talk show on WBEN every night. Godspeed!
  23. https://www.audacy.com/wben/news/sabres/listen-ruff-you-have-to-win-fans-back-by-playing-good-hockey-and-winning-games I think reading Lindy’s letter to Sabres fans/business partners is worth the two minutes. Regardless of who crafted the letter (i.e., Sabres PR), the sentiment sounds genuine. I think Lindy can get these guys to play like their hair is on fire. At this point, that would be a huge step in the right direction.
  24. I am a big Lindy fan. Admittedly, it’s a little strange to see him back with the Sabres after all this time. But, very happy to see it. As he stated, he knows what it is like when this team is playing games that matter. There is no doubt in my mind that he will get this team to a place where they are playing into May. He might not be the guy that gets this team to a place where they are playing into June. We’ll see. Nevertheless, a proven pro has entered the chat.
