What if you think about the question this way: Team X offers a really good package for either Reino or ROR, with the Sabres choosing whom to part with? Which one do you keep? I'd keep ROR, but it's not a slam dunk.

Well, obviously I have zero numbers to back up my assertion, but to my eye Reino is substantially slower, both in smaller spaces where quickness is needed to get to a puck 1-2 strides away, and in longer sprints. I appreciate that YMMV.

It does seem like the bottom 6 forwards and bottom 2 D this year should be largely comprised of youth with speed and upside instead of retreads and journeymen. They just need a few of them to flower, plus goaltending, coaching and maturity.

Ovie's still got the hands, the timing and the killer shot. But he doesn't have the speed or the endurance that he had a few years ago.

Agree with duda and I too want to put the brakes on here. I heard the interview. Hammy did NOT say that ROR and Eichel don't get along. He said a couple of times that he was just speculating, that it could be possible that they don't get along and that Hammy's guess, if it is true, is that it would be more coming from Eichel than coming from ROR.

Hard to see a season 2! Separately: my wife and I are about halfway through “Money Heist” on Netflix. Pretty entertaining bank robbery thriller miniseries.
