Problem with Edmonton is on the backend. Their isn't much too talk about on their defense and goaltending remains suspect. Plus throw in Nail Yakupov who seems like a bust right now. I see them moving Nail for someone on defense and I think they make a trade real soon. Their a mess just like us but actually have a few talented players. Plus they aren't getting outshot by 2-1 margains either. Carolina will be fine when they get their key players back from injuries. Winnipeg competes hard as do Calgary. I can see us finishing last if they continue to keep this current lineup. They look worse than last years squad.

Complete smokescreen by Murray that's why he's a genius. I still think this is the main reason why LaFontaine left. I think he wanted to keep some players and the rest of the organization was already sold on the total rebuild.

It's too late these guys are hyped like any other really good players in the draft. Crosby,Tavares, McKinnon and others were hyped for years. Unfortunately last year u didn't really hear so much about one guy standing out besides Ekblad and it's not like he was a force just a solid defenseman. I still think more players especially the ones with expiring contracts are gonna get moved before the deadline for a roster player, prospects or more picks.

I agree it would do some of the other players a favor by getting out of Buffalo. I think if anyone gets moved it's going to be players with expiring contracts. Stewart, Stafford, Mezaros, Benoit. Possibly Hodgson. It's looking like the rebuild is going into 2015-16 season. Even if u get McDavid or Eichel their is no guarantee that Eichel comes out of college early and the rest of the players we draft are gonna need more time to develop. Plus now with the draft being hosted by Buffalo in 2016 I think their is no way Murray moves that first rounder.

Serious about what. He's all for finishing at the bottom. Yes this team is unwatchable and worse than last season but why change now. It's McDavid or Eichel getting closer in the picture.

Murray the Tank Commander is a genius! This team is scary bad. They can't get enough shots to score and they are worse than last year. I actually thought they would be better but it obvious they are much worse. I can't believe I spent money to watch them in Anaheim and in Los Angeles. I don't know if they will even score in either one of those games. So here's my question to u fans. Who is the first roster player to get traded? That's why Kim runs the show ! I thought they would be alittle bit better than last year but I was wrong this team is worse than last years squad.

That's true I just thought they could have unloaded some players earlier if this was the game plan. I just think Darcy realized this too late after the players he brought in didn't perform up to their expectations.

Problem with this whole tank started one year to late. Like others have said it would have been nice to have a guy like McKinnon or Droiun on this roster. We tanked on a weak draft class and still got the player we wanted. And it's obvious he needs at least another season or two to get stronger and to be more assertive in the play. Reinhart seemed really sound position wise but never really took control of the puck and made something happen. It will come but he needs to develop like the rests of our prospects which is going to take sometime. This 2015 draft is huge for us and a lot of it depends on who drafts #1 and #2. And after watching these first 5 games they look worse than last years squad. Plus what does Murray have in store with some of our current roster players or prospects. I just hope Murray didn't see the players he brought in as solid ones but more to help the tank. Because the only one that looks like is a keeper is Gorges and Moulson(even though he isn't looking so hot right now). Gionta looks washed up and Cody well is Cody not gonna expect much out of him as a 4th liner. Then u throw in Myers trade rumors which I hope he doesn't get moved for more prospects unless it's Mantha. Someone needs to overpay before I move Myers. Then someone said move the 2016 first rounder? Really when you are gonna be hosting the draft. Don't think that's gonna happen.

Nail Yak to me is a bust right now. Players are being thrown in without much development and they lack defense and goaltending. Like I said before u can have 20 1st rounders and if u don't give them time to develop your in trouble. Plus some picks are busts. Plus throw in last years weak draft and it's a big mess. This years draft is the most important. Let's face it we lack star players and picks 1 and 2 are going to be players you build around. I like Reinhart but it's so obvious since preseason that he needs more time to develop. It could be 1 season or 2.

And even this draft 2015 I don't expect anyone to step right in unless u land McDavid. Then throw in rumors about Myers being moved this could take awhile before we have a decent team.

I'm pulling for the tank but Murray might have to start unloading players for 2016 1st rounders giving fans something to cheer about because it surely ain't coming from this non goal scoring team.

God I thought we would be better this year but after these games they are worse. Carolina when all their key players are back from injury are a ton better than Buffalo. After these 5 games barring any teams trading key pieces I just don't see how Buffalo doesn't finish last again. This team is getting badly outshot in most of these games and they look aweful. I know Edmonton isn't much better but I think they move Yakupov for some help and I'm thinking it's going to happen soon. As much as I hate all the teams from Boston this Sabres team is pretty darn bad and I think they are worse than last year. Their was a reason why Montreal cut ties with Gionta. I know we picked him up for leadership and to get to the cap bottom but he seems washed up to me.

I would have signed Ott over Cody.

Keep the tank rolling if they get dominated in the third I think last place will be pretty safe for this team.

I agree but Florida should be a better rested team since they were of for alittle while while Buffalo still had to play Carolina.

I don't think moving Myers is a smart move unless someone grossly overpays. Myers seems like he is finding his game again and this guy can skate. To me why move him for more picks and prospects because even though you move him and have guys like McCabe, Pysyk, and Zadorov coming I also think u have Benoit and Mezs heading out at the deadline or at the end of the year which means u need to pick another defenseman. And a #1 or 2 defenseman aren't that easy to acquire unless u draft them. I can see this team if they can land McDavid or Eichel in 2015 still finish in the bottom 10 of the 2016 draft. I say this because all these young players still have to develop. I like Mantha but I don't see Detroit moving him for Myers. And if I'm Ken Holland Mantha and Nyquist aren't even in any trade discussions.

I don't think he was that bad a defenseman. The contract given to him by Regier was too long but not bad money wise. I still feel the reason Patty left is I can bet you he wanted to add pieces to this team instead of going through a total rebuild. I think he wanted to keep Miller, Ott and add more. And I think when the rest of the organization including Murray wanted to tear it down and start fresh that was not what he believed in and quit. We will probably never know but that's what I think that happened.

I would take anything they get for him. Not like Erhoff and cutting ties with him and getting nothing in return. I'm not a fan of letting players go and getting nothing. I'm sure he could have gotten a pick or a player.

Yeah but they still won. Islanders with the moves they made are a playoff team and if u don't think so then your gonna be disappointed. I know it's early but the additions of Leddy and Boychuck are huge. Throw in Strome and Reinhart and they have a solid squad. We are not going to get a lottery ball from the Islanders it's all up to Buffalo to do that.

Islanders with a win over San Jose and outshot them by a lot. If you don't think they aren't a playoff team u will be sadly mistaken!

By the time the 2016 draft rolls around even if we land McDavid or Eichel yes we will be improved but still a lot of players in development. I could see that 2016 draft with us picking top 10.
