I really wish Terry would put the team up for sale. Just seems like something happened when he bought them. I don’t really believe in curses but you have to wonder. We had other owners that didn’t even try and they fielded good teams.

The amount of regulation home losses are disgusting. i just can’t even take it after all these years. So many are tie games in 3rd period that we lose.

After their game in Buffalo, Columbus and Detroit have had no trouble with Calgary. It’s games like that, regulation losses that kill us.

Hey, finally i had my finger on the pulse of a game. as well as pumping up Comrie earlier yesterday. I recall he ended the season last year playing pretty good hockey. He’s earned a few more starts for sure.

Losing 3 out of 4 in regulation right out of the gate at home would be grounds for firing someone. It would be completely unacceptable. This should be a game where the Sabres come out with their hair on fire, Outshoot the Isles like 45-20 for the game. I’d expect a big W tonight and nothing less.

No excuse tonight eh? The Isles played a heck of a game last night vs Jersey and it went to OT. You can’t tell me Buffalo won’t be the fresher club. The Sabres need to stop thinking and start dominating. The best defense will be to possess the puck and keep it in the offensive zone. I’d also rather see Comrie over UPL. I don’t really trust either but I think Comrie has a good mental side to him and doesn’t get rattled.

All I know is the puck needs to be in our end LESS, and in the other teams zone MORE. The more you putz around in your own end of the ice, the more opportunity for the puck to end up in the back of your net. That's just fact. Play defense all you want but if the other team can cycle and maintain possession too easily, they will score.

Please sell the team Terry. Lift whatever curse followed you to the Sabres and get back to the glorious hockey town and playoff contender we always used to be.

From the moment these guys hit the ice, they should be the most desperate team. and they’re not. 12 years running. but last years team was better… except goaltending.

Things look more dark and cloudy this year than i ever could have imagined. The Eastern Conference is looking good. Sabres don’t have a chance if they continue to lose home games. They won’t sniff the playoffs .

I’m not sure what committing to team defense means when the offense is failing them, especially when compared to last season. Team D is great but ya still have to score. These guys are getting outworked and outplayed for long stretches at home and it’s maddening.

I’d give Comrie the next game. Not trusting UPL just yet.

i like Granato but If we don’t finish at least above .500 at home i’d can him. I’m tired of this. Fans in the stands or not, the Sabres are so easy to play against in Buffalo. Opponents love coming here, it’s an easy night compared to most barns.

Team does not look as good as last years club. And once again, just too many regulation losses at home and we’re only a few games in. To have any chance at the playoffs they need to pile up some points at home and STOP losing in regulation. At least get a losers point for goodness sakes.

Hope so, my trust factor with the other guys is not there yet. If Levi can stack some home ice W's that would be huge for this season.

Start winning the majority of home games like all the good NHL teams do...and the fans will show up.

Donny has to get these guys pushing the action like they did last season. Now we have a real goalie, don't be scared to keep trying to score goals. They packed it in and got too defensive last night.

I thought the Sabres played a pretty good first period but somewhere in the 2nd they became very defensive oriented and were allowing Tampa to carry the play. Did not like that at all. At one point, I was talking to a family member, and with one eye on the game I thought Tampa had a 5 minute power play. They were just controlling play in the Sabres end for so long and our guys were just floating around with their sticks out trying to block passes. It was weird. Then i saw there was no power play. So what the heck was that?!? Was glad to see Levi play strong in the net, that's key. I'm sure Buffalo can play much better but as of today they don't look as good as last year's club (except goalie) Hopefully this win gives them confidence and they pick up the scoring pace.

He has to say positive things. What he says at a podium filters right back to the players. If he said what he's actually thinking then we'd have some interesting sound bites.

I agree. Prove all the concerned fans wrong. And if you count preseason the losing streak is already at 4 😒

Ha, I sure hope I'm wrong. The first two games they played against 2 of the best goalies in the NHL, Shesterkin and Sorokin. Tonight they will not be playing against a world class goalie. Let's see some goals for and some saves on our side.

Sorry folks but it's only game 3 and this is a must win. The Sabres are already falling behind every other wannabe team in the division who are looking improved. Tampa just lost in regulation to Detroit and Ottawa and they are without a top flight goalie now. If they lose tonight I'm already writing it down, No playoffs. You can't chase the pack all year, it won't work.

I would agree, but assumed they would have done this over the past offseason. I was somewhat surprised they went with the same 3 guys. I think Levi will be great as his career goes on. But right not they need the big save late and a guy that can steal a game once in a while.

the good teams in this league most often get that mid to late 3rd period goal to take a lead and that one big save to preserve it. Sabres just have to find that recipe. it’s frustrating.They do the opposite
