  1. They traded Theodore to Vegas to protect themselves from losing Fowler, Lindholm or Vatanen in the expansion draft. Stoner's salary also being part of the deal. Sending Theodore somewhere else wouldn't provide that.
  2. There's the rumored ten year extension he received prior to Wang selling the team. https://eyesonisles.com/2018/03/22/new-york-islanders-garth-snow-rumored-contract-all-but-confirmed/
  3. Larsson is gone, replaced with vet FA on a 1 year deal Girgensons is back, they don't have viable LWs Bogo could be bought out, but I think he's back
  4. I think there would definitely be a market, but I would expect a large return, and they don't need to trade him, so my guess is he's back. I like the idea of the centers for the Sabres being Eichel - O'Reilly - Mittelstadt
  5. Buscaglia asked in the post draft presser
  6. I don't love Allen but this isn't the case. They can take another QB next year if needed.
  7. They started terrible in 2004, but were awesome down the stretch.
  8. Hasn't it always been on the last couple weeks of April? I recall it moving to May for a year due to scheduling. It's cool that they're doing it in different cities every year now.
  9. Twice traded 1st round picks for QBs during that timeframe.
  10. Schneider is 32 with 4 more years at $6M per, I think that's too much to take on for the chance he regains form
  11. Currently is likely: Dawkins-Groy-Bodine-Ducasse-Mills ; Miller could earn a guard spot as well.
  12. I have Directv, $77 a month, and add on Sunday Ticket and NHL Center Ice (I live outside the Buffalo market), both of which were free this past season. My only frustration is that the OnDemand functions for Directv don't work well, or at all in many instances.
  13. Nashville didn't tank, but they had the 3rd worst team in 2013. What was Washington thinking with the Erat for Forsberg deal?
  14. Right, I guess my thought was that in some cases it can be misleading to use completion percentage as proof of anything since +/- of ~5% can be a very thin line.
  15. https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/passing-play-pct Passing play percentage, by team. Wyoming near the bottom in passing play percentage. Rank Team 2017 4 UCLA 58.69% 39 Oklahoma St 51.17% 47 Louisville 50.00% 53 USC 49.01% 80 Oklahoma 45.67% 84 Wyoming 45.00%
  16. 10.5 - 25.7 att per game. I agree it is strange that he was so highly touted and threw very little compared to other prospects.
  17. Allen missed 2.5 games due to shoulder injury. I like Waldman, thanks for the video links.
  18. Worth noting, Allen only played 11 games in 2017 and threw 270 passes completing 152 of them. If he completed 4 more passes he'd be at 58%, 9 more he's at 60%.
  19. I think it was Darcy's idea, presented to Pegula after a season and a half of failed attempts to build on the previous core through free agency. They wanted top talent but couldn't attract it. I recall sentiment around the NHL was that it was unbelievable that Darcy still had a job, and with little evidence my opinion is that LaFontaine told him part of his recruiting problem was Darcy. He decided to fire Darcy and allow LaFontaine to run things.
  20. I think typically at the location of the prospect.
  21. I was certain they were going to trade up into the top 3 picks to get one of the top guys. I think it's less likely now. After the Jets trade my new gut feeling: I think Rosen, Allen, Mayfield and Darnold are all gone by pick 5 and maybe the Bills trade up slightly (pick #8 w Bears) to ensure they get Jackson, which I don't love.
  22. They're going to use draft capital on the most important position.
