Sabre-goalieitis……

The goalie situation was entirely avoidable, it’s simply terrible team management.

Rinse, lather, repeat…. The fact that UPL is still here, makes me want to throw up.

But the NHL hands out three games for ending people’s careers….

To some teams, more than others… And this makes zero sense. Because he’s an older player, he’ll automatically make a good coach?? Why? If he’s no longer an asset on the ice, he can watch from the pressbox.

And occasionally, he throws a bone-jarring hit too.

Good win. Some nice ugly scoring chances throughout the game, created from hard work and getting their noses dirty.

A point lost in october certainly bothered my, last year.

I’m sorry, but I just don’t see it. Would like to be wrong, but I don’t see who’s going to rise to the occasion? This is an organisation of people who hang their heads when the going gets tough, not the other way around. We’ll be in a 10-game hole mid-december this way.

I have a ton of things to say about the Sabres, but the team is saying it all themselves. Good lord, what a disappointment.

Well, no you’re right. Not always. Just pretty damn close to always. But missing for the 12th straight season - by 1 or 15 points - is not “fine”.

Yeah it is, and they always miss the playoffs. I don’t think qualifies as “fine”, but that’s just me….

Yeah you’re right. Being out of the playoffs in december never hurt anyone, as long as they mount a valiant yet hopeless charge in march. Oh, hang on…. Much like Jack did. How did that work out? For him, pretty damn sweet.

By which time Thompson and Dahlin will want out just like Jack, and who can blame them? Of the three I mentioned, one has a cup, and the other two have never seen the playoffs. Don’t think they won’t be thinking about just that, if this team misses the playoffs. Again.
