Just went through a few youtube clips, that kid is insanely quick and mobile! Of course, Marchand will run him the first time we play the Bruins, and likely put a permanent end to that….

UPL is huge, and still sucks. I’m thinking the league has pretty much abandoned the “bigger is better” approach, which seemed dominant through the past decade.

I never understood the slow approach in the shootout. Want the goalie moving? Put on some speed. Treat it like a breakaway.

In all fairness, I thought the Isles were overmatched defensively? Routinely got beat on the rush, caught chasing us in their zone, and generally were a step behind, all night. If not for Varlamov, this could easily have been 6-0, and noone would bat an eyebrow. Outstanding game.

I’ll admit it. Comrie was good.
