That was Knox's best catch of the season. Also, for me, I give a QB 40 games to show me what he is. I've liked a lot of what I see from Allen, but I'm not ready to deem him a "franchise QB" and I'm certainly not ready to place him above Cam Newton.

I live alone, and my hair isn't really suited to the #2 clipper treatment. Plus the part that's bugging me the most is the back of my neck.
-
That reveals an alarming amount of optimism for a Sabres fan.
-
Even the article says that. Curbside pickup and delivery only. No haircuts for us ?
-
I only had time to check the first of those trades, and it was part of a larger series of deals. And on top of that, Botterill doesn't get my benefit of the doubt.
-
Detroit and Vancouver made similar moves in the sixth round of that draft and picked up sweeteners. Buffalo did not. Yes, once again, Botterill was a patsy, and many of us were scratching our heads at the time it happened. Some vague "Toronto will do us a favor later" sentiment isn't actual value. Now, in the pantheon of Botterill screwups, that probably was the least important, but a screwup it was.

I do like the first two of those. (Yes, that was on purpose.)
-
The only other option is to debate best tandem, but Hasek/Biron would own that, too. So yes, let's get on with Ryan Miller and his backup.
-
Please book me for a haircut as well. I'll buy.

This also is correct. Not sure where you're going or why.

The WSJ article used exactly that term. Indeed it is.
-
WSJ reporting that new symptoms might be appearing, specifically mentioning hypoxemia. (Sorry--I don't know how to cut and paste from the Apple News app on my phone...)
-
The article has been edited, too. I know the phrase "proclaimed symptom-free" was in the original.
-
Pretty sure he is but I'll check. The scary thing is that he was told he was ok, felt ok for a while, and now has symptoms again.

A two-sentence quote never brought about a copyright suit: "While the Sabres are likely to commit to Reinhart long-term, it's uncertain Montour has a future on the roster. Evolving Hockey projects him to receive a three-year deal worth $4.98 million per season, a high price for a defenseman who doesn't fit Krueger's system. " Looks like I went overboard by saying that the Sabres are "likely" to lose him.
-
He cited some site that projects Montour at 3 yrs $5M and thinks the Sabres can't swing it.
-
Ugh. This is by Lance Lysowski. It's opinion, and it I don't care for much of it. Anyway: --Botterill likely will be retained because COVID. --The team's "core" is already set. (WHAT?!) --The Sabres need to bring back Girgensons (?!) and Larsson. --Krueger won't have much of a role on draft day. --Sabres might have to keep Hutton. --Sabres should draft a forward and not a defenseman in the first round. --Cap isn't likely to increase; Sabres aren't likely to be major players in FA. --Sabres are likely to lose Montour in FA.

Do the Wild also get to cross over and replace Anaheim? Ten point difference there.

So how does this work? My friend's father had it, was proclaimed "symptom-free," and now is back in the hospital with it again. https://buffalonews.com/2020/05/08/emminger-tests-positive-again-for-covid-19/

Wow. Indeed, there was a Bisons basketball team, but not even for a full year. They are the Atlanta Hawks now. And yes, they did play at The Aud. Nice call, TW's friend.

Some of you are pretty impressive, especially with the obscure #4. Rico7 had the most correct in the original thread. Here are your answers: 1. Who was the first Sabre with a 100-point season? 2. Gilbert Perreault set the NHL record for goals scored by a rookie. Years and years later, his rookie goal total was exactly DOUBLED, by which (non-Sabre) rookie? 3. Which team drafted Marcel Dionne? 4. One man owned both the Los Angeles Kings and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Who is he? 5. As a junior player, Perreault billeted with a future teammate's family. Who? 6. The Aud hosted eight pro sports teams. (Not necessarily all major.) Get at it and name 'em.

open bracket, the word "spoiler," close bracket. then your answer. then open bracket, slash, the word "spoiler" and close bracket

Just from my wikipedia rabbit hole this morning. Please use spoiler tags for answers. Some are easy, some are harder, one is a trick question. 1. @Rico7 You had some right and some wrong in the original thread. But the spoiler tag request is there for a reason, so people like @Weave and everyone else on the board can play along. I normally wouldn't care but no one has anything to do right now.

And seemed to, often.

I am too young to remember Guevremont; any pointers?
