  1. Good to see the Bs suck at something! https://sports.yahoo.com/cam-neely-gives-honest-disastrous-175705309.html "Unfortunately for the Bruins, their poor drafting extends beyond 2015. The 2017, 2018 and 2019 draft classes have not produced any regular NHL players, aside from maybe Jeremy Swayman (fourth-round pick in 2017). He could be Boston's starting goalie to begin the 2021-22 season. The draft is an area the Bruins must improve in ASAP. They have arguably the league's worst prospect pool, and that doesn't paint a pretty picture for the future of the franchise."
  2. I'm ready too. This place could use some positivity. A couple solid trades and the right FA adds would go a long way towards that.
  3. Looked like it hurt. Hurts less with a win though.
  4. Same play, Caufield got that one though. Kid is such a good player for them already.
  5. And all of them kill penalties and hound pucks all over the ice. I remember the year Armia broke his hand. I thought he was going to get his shot in Buffalo but that happened and then shortly after that he was gone to Winnipeg. He's better in the playoffs it seems but he's carved out a nice little career since.
  6. For some reason I think the Canadiens can hang. Might be wrong but they have been scrappy good so far.
  7. He was available when they hired Kreuger no?
  8. I never usually do this but I'll take a shot at it: If I'm Kevyn Adams... I'm drafting Owen Power #1 overall I'm re-signing my RFAs, bringing back McCabe and checking Ullmarks temperature. I really like 2×4.5 for him this contract but would defer to the market and explore other options if he wants too much. I'm signing (hopefully) Brandon Saad, Blake Coleman Phillip Danault and or Barclay Goodrow. I'd be thrilled with any combo of two of them. I'm signing one or both (depending on the Ullmark situation and trades) of Chris Driedger and Petr Mrazek I'm trading for a goaltender, if needed. I would target Elvis Merzlikins, Braden Holtby or else I'm trying to pry Filip Gustavsson away from Ottawa. He's ready to back up in the NHL IMO. I'm looking at a potential lineup of: Saad/Skinner Eichel Reinhart Coleman/R2 Danault Cozens Asplund Mittlestadt Goodrow/Coleman Bjork Girgensons Thompson/Okposo Eakin Oloffson Dahlin Borgen Power Jokiharju McCabe Ristolainen Miller, Bryson If I'm Kevyn Adams, I'm working my tail off to make the lineup above a reality. I might need to trade out a contract or two to make it work but I'd burn up the phonelines making it happen. If I had all my wishes granted this off season I would be in the market for and secure some reliable playoff performers and guys who are "good in the room" and can lead my young up and coming team to their own playoff runs in the near future. I'm looking at Rochester as my development hub for future Sabres. I want as many prospects as possible mixed in with the right amount of veteran protection and college free agents to let them develop together. I'm sending Samuelsson back to play with them as well and leaving UPL there for atleast one full season. I'm not Kevyn Adams but I really hope they bring in some of this year's playoff performers. Their current teams will not be able to afford them and I'm not sure cap wise if the Sabres can either but if I'm Kevyn Adams I make it work. Seattle will take Miller. I'm sure of it.
  9. Clearly the NHL network is still upset about the Bs being eliminated. They're still showing replays and breaking down their elimination game on the day the Semis are set to begin.
  10. Tough to sustain. If it falters, they could as well.
  11. I'm taking this attitude as well. I hate hating my favorite team. I want to love it again. I also wouldn't mind a young exciting team to root for in Rochester in the mean time.
  12. I'm mostly a newbie to this sport although I have watched many matches across several different formats and leagues I am not schooled on the strength of international teams besides what I see every couple years in the World Cup and Olympics. That being said I'm interested in trying to follow the Euro this year. Thanks for starting this, I think it will help me keep up a little easier. Group F looks pretty strong to me.
  13. TB is $18 mil over the cap. Are any others over in the final four? Never mind, they are all over the cap to varying degrees with TB being the worst followed by the NYI, Canadiens and Vegas
  14. Vegas looks strong right now but Tampa is the defending champs until they aren't. I was hoping for a Tampa Colorado final as well but it should be good whoever advances. I'm not counting the Islanders or Canadiens out just yet, in a 7 game series anything can happen. More good hockey, coming up!
  15. Final Four is set. Will the Habs or Islanders upset and interrupt a potential Las Vegas Tampa Bay clash for the cup?
  16. They've been praised as recently as a couple weeks ago but they have been average in their own end this series
