C'mon PA, why the "meh" response? The Hamilton/London/Kitchner Sabres has a nice ring to it. Besides, we might get the Bulldogs AHL franchise to fill the void. I suspect if the Sabres DID make the 24-team field, the reaction would be it doesn't really count and they didn't deserve it.

Between Key Bank Center and Harborplace you have 3 NHL rinks, locker rooms, training facilities, hotel, food service and media infrastructure, all in a space that can be sealed off from the general public. Not to mention top-shelf medical facilities just up the street.
