One city that doesn't get talked about much is Houston. #4 US market and a history of good support for the minor league Aeros. You know Quebec City is dying for a team. Maybe Hartford again? Kansas City has a new arena. The point is never take having the Sabres or Bills in Buffalo for granted. The vultures never stop circling. What market with a major league franchise is lower than us? I can't think of one.

A possible Eichel trade is something that has been reported repeatedly. It's not remotely the same as an alleged Sabres sale. Two anonymous social media posts is not smoke.

It's been a great disappointment but I don't believe the Sabres are second fiddle at all. In fact all I hear is how much Terry meddles in the team. As poor a job as they've done, I don't for one minute believe they don't care. The fact they got the Bills right make me feel they will straighten the Sabres out eventually. Maybe with this regime.

I accept preseason games are part of the package. The Bills and NFL charge full boat for their preseason games, of which there are usually 2. (This year just one for the Bills.) It's not something the Pegulas just sprung on fans.

Gonna be in town the weekend of Oct 2-3 for UB football and the Bills. I guess I could stay another night for the CBJ game.

If they take Borgen he has to make the NHL team. If they try to send him to the AHL the Sabres have first waivers dibs and can take Borgen right back.

Just watch him. He aggressively forechecks on almost every shift. Causes turnovers that lead to chances. That is what I expect the Sabres to be next year. And what he was in Boston doesn't really matter here because Donnie is retooling players skill sets.
