I'll say this again. The league has a say in ticket prices. The last thing they want to see are price reductions for bad seasons. Most of you aren't STHers anyway so why do you care?

Ice time isn't cheap. I don't know what the new owners were looking to charge, but I know in Massachusetts and NH rinks are charging between $350-500/hr depending on time of day.

Okay. I don't recall much love for Bogosian when he left. As for Hasek the man put in his time and took us to the brink of a cup. We did the right thing to let him go to a winner. Jack's situation is not analogous to Hasek. This is the mindset that will paralyze this team going forward. Too much worry on how things will look instead of making moves to get better.

If the Sabres make the playoffs this year, maybe. A lot depends on how much Jack likes playing for Granato.

If the Sabres make the playoffs under Adams, that will negate whatever people think about an Eichel trade... assuming Eichel doesn't win a cup and earn playoff MVP.

A lot of assumptions being made about how Jack will behave. If Eichel feels his career is going down the drain with the Sabres he can make things very ugly. Meanwhile you have a young team and new coach trying to revive the franchise with your star player hanging over like a stale fart in the room. I don't envy Adams' position because he will be ridiculed even if he makes the best possible decision. You are risking a lot waiting too long on Eichel.

You're essentially saying what I said. If they decide to trade him after July 2022, their options will be dictated by Jack.

Because if he demands a trade after his NMC kicks in, it's Taylor Hall all over again. If you think the Sabres will get jobbed in an Eichel trade now, wait till his NMC kicks in. Are you willing to bet on Eichel having a change of heart to risk hanging on to him and losing what leverage you have to make a deal now?
