Carolina is the best team the Sabres have faced this year. This is a good measuring stick game. First team we've faced that is as fast as us. They are smothering us in their end. But we aren't out of it.

Canes are being super aggressive forechecking and playing on the perimeter. Maybe Granato can figure out what they're leaving open for the Sabres to attack in the second.

I just realized I'm drinking a Carolina beer. Devil's Son IPA from Edward Teach Brewing in Wilmington. Brought it home back in August.
